I also caught 31479 yesterday which is a nice bus and 3 Diamond 50's buses had all caught up together in Kings Heath towards Druids Heath yesterday 30205, 31479 and 30802.

I caught the 64 today and the two buses that I caught were busy and nearly full downstairs so this route is a lot more popular now than when it first started out, with young and old people on it and the buses going in the opposite direction had a fair few passengers. I do love the metrobuses and it's great to see what bus turns up as today I caught Plaxton President 101 and their bus that can be converted to an open top bus 365. The £1.00 all distance fare obviously makes it popular and the fact that the 64 is the only bus direct to and from Northfield and QE Hospital.

Today's unusual workings on Diamond buses are 30134 on the 417 but I do see a Hybrid get on there quite often now so not that rare and 30132 on the 202 which is the first time I've seen and been on one on that route.

From what I've seen on the 50a and 64 routes the Green Bus isn't that busy with mainly OAP's using it and on my local 64 route the upper deck is usually empty but I have seen the bus pretty full downstairs on occasions and it's mainly used by people travelling to the QE Hospital. I do like the company with their low price fares and their range of buses that they have which are done up well.

1806 on X64 this afternoon-tho this isnt that rare at the moment tho it will be soon.

Two days in a row I've waited for the X64 and I've ended up on 1794 Scania Omnilink which was on yesterday and today.

On the 002 today was Optare Versa Hyrbid 30134 and yesterday was 30218. Funny how there are 6 branded buses for the 002 and there's usually one missing every day.

Well yeah the 29/29A both run the same route to and from Birmingham and Weoley Castle Square.
Then the 29 runs from Weoley Castle to Northfield (Lockwood Road).
The 29A runs from Weoley Castle to Shenley Fields (Shenley Lane) which is about 4/5 stops from Castle Square.

I think the 29 should be increased to every 10 minutes running the full route by getting rid of the 29A service which I and others find useless because the 29 usually always leaves Northfield pretty full and is a popular service. When waiting for the 29 to come back to Northfield, a 29A can come first quite empty and then the 29 which I want will turn up late and full and It's not just me who thinks the 29A should be scrapped and the main 29 increased in frequency as I've heard others talking about it so I just thought what others think if they use this service.

I agree these buses would be a good investment for Diamond, they are in need of some bigger buses for certain routes that can get busy. Also I wonder if there ever going to repaint the rest of the red and white diamond livery buses into black diamond.

The 142 buses seem to be operating with Optare Solos lately and leave Halesowen full and the 007 is seeing 30488 and not 30214.

Yes that's the bus I got on, It got to Weoley Castle at 2.06pm and it's the one that should have got to Bartley Green towards Weoley at 2.10pm.

Yes, I was going through Weoley Castle and I saw this not in service http://wmbusphotos.com/diamondpages/20543.html. I assume this is the bus you were on about. It was parked up in Castle Square Weoley Castle at 2:09 this afternoon with the driver having a cigarette.

A small Dennis Dart 20543 was on the 002 today which I had a great ride on which was empty and running early and going pretty fast. Interesting how there's a digital clock on this bus to see.

2091 was on the number 9 yesterday (10/05/12).
Also there seems to be at least 1 Hybrid on the 417 everyday now as I saw 30130 today and the 142 had a solo on today which was 20538.
Also what has happened to 30810 as that has been missing from the 002 for a good couple of weeks and replaced by a royale plaxton centro?

It's not just you as Diamond drivers must have had there shifts changed around as this week there's been different drivers driving the 002 and not the regular ones and I saw two regular 002 bus drivers on the 202 and not the usual faces so it must because of the changes.
