Travelled on similar 30825 earlier today, as DMCL said , this batch of vehicles are still working hard and still in a tidy condition ,the bus also went well so apart from the customary rattles , a decent bus. 

Seen locally earlier today on the M5 was a Volvo/ Van Hool - KUI3880 which was - unless anyone knows otherwise - R912YBA , new in 1998 to Shearings. 

It is a sister company to De-Luxe Coaches. They have photographs of an all white Solo on their facebook page amongst many other vehicles

Thanks Tony , I've found them on Busview.  Wow , they have a D9 , that's good enough for me.

Any one have any info on the above operator ??  Bustimes have them listed as a bus operator and they look to have four services starting at the end of August / start of September. They have a website but it only gives a phone number and e-mail address.  Busview have a operator of the same name as operating from  1990 > 2008. They had a great mix of coaches - AEC Reliance , Leyland Royal Tiger and a Van Hool integral. 

That bus was written off in an accident December last year

Last report that I am aware of is it is with Llew Jones of Llanrwst, who also operate as a dealer.     

No front destination display on 20530 - paper route number on display though. [202]. Not able to check side and rear displays as the bus pulled up behind me whilst I was driving.   

BMT is the next full history I am working on.

From Monday 25 July 147 will go Halesowen to Bromsgrove but via Fairfield deleting Wildmoor.

Watching Bangers and Cash recently and what I took to be a Duple 320 bodied coach converted to a car transporter appeared carrying the reg 5887AW . BUT on checking Flickr and Busview , the vehicle was actually a Seddon Pennine which originally carried a Alexander body - MSJ388P. Did it ever venture down this way and appear at Digbeth Coach Station when in its original guise ??  Sorry if this is already part of this thread , I only checked the first few pages.

Route one reports NX are adding 150 new coaches, is this correct ?

Some reports say 130 but either way it is a significant investment over a period of time .Eight new vehicles will be used on a new service - Belfast to Dublin. 

With most NX vehicles, as soon as they are in use if you put the reg in the search box it will give you the operator. In this case it is the brand new op Jason Edwards Travel
 

Thanks Tony - as ever.  I was going to add that I had seen it on a Glastonbury run on the M5 on the 21st last month but maybe I hadn't . . . . . But a very kind soul has posted a photo on Flickr confirming it did a run on service G26 . The wonders of the "interweb".

Quack77 have Yeomans/Lugg Valley acquiring 5 Solo's from Scarlet Band Motors at the start of the year. Bustimes suggest that two are in service with Lugg Valley. Can anyone tell me if any of the others are in use please. Many thanks.

Stay with us please , forums are for everyone to be able to offer an opinion. I have felt exactly the same on a number of forums I have used over the years but I am pretty certain that I have stayed on as a member - maybe refrain from posting for a week or so ??   I would also miss Bob's contributions to be honest.
