Yeah, I think when I posted, I was sort of aiming at that 'two sides to the story' - I just didn't know how to put it.  :P

Also, I just wanted to reiterate, it was unconfirmed that the bus was on the Sutton Lines, I just guessed, as the article stated 'crowded vehicle' - and it does mention Erdington and Sutton Coldfield's Good Hope Hospital, so I put two and two together - though, I suppose your 'theory' that the bus was on the Expressway is a valid 'backup' to my original statement. :)
5 minutes on diversion in the City Centre it says in the article, probably this one http://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands/information/temporary-diversions/closure-of-carrs-lane
Stops all along Moor Street and Carrs Lane the driver could of pulled up at?

I don't know why your getting upset/defensive. I'm giving my opinion based on observations I've made.
I am not getting upset/defensive they are my opinions and what I have seen on the Washwood Heath Road and what I have seen on the Waswood Heath Road. I have been using the 55 for 10 years.

@GeminiFan1991

Well hopefully it will be - would be good for you! I'd say there's a high chance that next year the 97 and 126 will be done - perhaps one other corridor as well. Will be interesting where the 16 61/13 reg E400s from WA go.
I think the 94 has a chance next year aswel with Claribels competition on there saw the Gemini with the LED display yesterday it looks a mess. Maybe the Bristol Road aswell

@Demonstrator4698 no it is not got upgraded with 2007 Enviro 400 in late 2013 have you seen the age of he veichles used on the 65, 67, 94, 126, Bristol Road.
And 24hr 97 using 12 year old next year 13 years old tridents!
This years new buses were ordered for the
9, 50, 71, 72, 243, 244, WN E200 routes , CV 2 and 3 Infact spare MMC from the 50 are used on the 35
Only buses being released this year now are
E400 MK1 to CV and 5 to a still unknown destination
E400 MK2 61 plates from WA to PB 13 plates WA to BC
And single decks from AG  witch are not any good for the 35
Plus Geminis from WA to?

Hope those Gemini IIs stay on the Harborne routes - wish WN had kept them - ride the 1 quite a bit and the Gem IIs were far better! Still have a feeling the Sutton corridor will kept upgraded in the next year or two - either normal MMCs or Platinums.
I think that aswell platinum like the other 9** services the 97 has also got to be a candidate for MMC next year 12 year old Tridents running a 24HR service, they will be 13 this time next year @Liberator9

I know, was just giving an example of how people have a glance at the bus type and decide from that if its their bus!
Sorry @BU07 LGO read your comment a bit to quickly and misunderstood what you had said

I had 4299 and people would have a quick glance see it didn't have led destination and look away only to jump up at the last minute!
But to acturely board the 28 thinking it was a 17? 1870 has a LED destination. @BU07 LGO

Yup, same as Carrs Lane, the public don't like single deckers! Well it's probably just the younger people who tend to sit upstairs.
So if the public do not like single deckers why is every 55 journey living the City Centre either full or overcrowded. The 141 is double Deckers though. People prefer to get a seat that's why when a 56/70 turns up people will choose to get the emptier quieter bus than get an overcrowded bus. they want a seat @MW that's why people catch the 56/70/94/55 from Jennes Road before it enters the City Centre.

I had someone once get all the way to Dyas Road thinking I was going to the City Centre!
There were 4 people on 1870. Interesting to hear that @John would of thought people would acturely look at the destination display to see whether it is acturely going to the City Centre before they board a bus to Scott Arms. I wander if they looked at the shape of the bus instead of the destination display. Must be a regular thing then.

Surprised how many people acturely got on 1870 on the Hobs Moat Road mistaking it for a 17 and thinking it was going to the City Centre with a driver advising them to stay on to the Fox And Goose and catch the 94
