Not strictly true, there are certain corridors where other operators are successfully competing on NXWM routes i.e. Diamond on the 301/302
Claribels on the 55 and 94. Acturley I believe DTS and Social are doing quite well on the 11 and 966! @the trainbasher

Passed through Asda Minworth today.  The 904 is terminating at the first layby as you go in, which seems a bit strange, as every service passing through Asda is flagged for that stop, bar the 116, which continues to use the second layby in solitary splendour !  :D

There is also a strange service flagged I haven't noticed before.  It's the S23, igo, two trips each way, Fridays only, to Castle Vale, starting 09/09/13 according to networkwestmidlands.com .... do they mean 2015; it isn't on the 31/05/15 Birmingham map ....
No that's been running for a while also a S16 from The Swan to Solihull with only a few trips each way Friday only. That was on the stop in Castle Vale back in July.
Timetables here so, I think they are correct when they it started on the 09/09/13

Operated by IGO.

From what I've saw, the 70 has heavy loads to Parkhill Drive whenever I've caught it at peaks. But like I said, I don't use buses anymore so...
After the Fox And Goose the 70 starts to get quiet but, I would say it gets heavy loads till the Hunters Moon about 3 minutes on the 70 away from where the 55 turns on to Stechford Lane at the Fox And Goose. But as I said the 55 copes which is a busier route and that copes from what I have so, I do not see why the 70 wouldn't after using them for 10 years @Sh4318

Definitely not from what I've seen. But hey, I don't catch buses anymore, so what do I know
The 55 follows exactly the same route on the busy part of the 70 route and that copes in the peaks @Sh4318

I really don't think the 70 could cope, especially at peaks
The 70 can cope very quite loads!

Maybe I'm getting confused but I thought there were 3 due to leave and 6 due to arrive at BC, but haven't 5 or 6 Tridents left in the last couple of days?

Also, what is BC's ever growing fleet of B7RLEs needed for, other than the 29/A, 58/9 and 98? Are there plans to convert the X64 back to single deck?
@Mike K only other routes that could cope with the B7RLE is the 56 and 70. So most likely will be for the 56, 70 or, X64.

Also. Seen bus stops around the area have been updated with new numbers on flags and timetables in the shelter, but nothing mentioned on any of the buses like normally happens, wonder how many people don't actually know yet?
They had changed all the flags up to around the Alexander Stadium last Thursday on the 52/A  :)

Glad to see the 99 isn't being taken out of the city centre. It provides a handy link to the city for various parts of Quinton and usually seems busy whenever I spot it between the city and the hospital?
Yeah Q.E to City Centre is a very busy part of the route proably the buisiest so, I don't see it beeing curtailed to the Q.E probably the  most used section aswell can not see that happening without a replacement or, at all in my opinion.

For X64 yes reouted to serve QE Hospital, plus there was talk of the 99 been extended to Gornal Wood and curtailed to the QE.
But the 99 extension was just a rumor @Stuharris 6360 plus what would replace it between the Q.E and City Centre.
