Last time I checked the rail map, I couldn't see a line connecting Stechford and Rugeley.

Well if they were doing badly on the 11 why are they still on it 4 months later?

No doubt I will create some controversy with my thoughts, but why have Social Travel started on the 11C Outer Circle route?

1) National Express West Midlands have a daytime frequency of 7 or 8 minutes each way (on the 11A (anticlockwise) and 11C (clockwise)) during normal working hours (a route that takes about 2 1/2 hours in total). What do Social Travel offer, 8 journeys in one direction only on the 11C (all at irregular timings). How can people be expected to be loyal to a company that takes them 15 minutes to get to their destination one way, and 2 hours 15 minutes back? This assumes the service is still running late afternoon and at regular intervals.

2) What worries me also is that Social Travel fail to show any fleetnames on the vehicles I have seen on the 11C. Why not show them and promote the company?

3) A further concern is that if the management had looked into the service they are providing, they would have seen previous failures for obvious reasons of copycat operators.

Social Travel started the 11C at the end of March!
They are acturely doing quite well on it. @Bryan
In the future Social and DTS may look at expanding on it

Was on the 24/29 on Monday and to be fair it did have a strange 'splat' mark where it looked like something had been thrown at the back window but no crack.

Reported as being on the 23 today in the noteworthy workings thread so keeping it out west and safe from the Fordbridge apple chuckers.

Not sure how true this is but I was told that on Sunday 23rd a 55 had its window knocked in by the school in Kingshurst. @Mike K

Are the Geminis still going to be branded for the 11?

I find the 966 route quite interesting, after breaking off Lode lane, it goes through a nice neighbourhood area before being put through its paces through the airport highway, I'm not familiar with the route after Chelmsley Wood although I would imagine its a dream to drive in a Gemini.

The 71/2 also look interesting although I find it somewhat peculiar they interwork although taking their frequencies into account, I can see why

The 71 is a very nice route and interesting nice especaly after Hodge Hill/Clock Garage.

Personally I'm surprised the 70 hasn't seen newer buses this year, after all it is competing with the 71 and 72 against sunny and claribels.

You do get the Volvo B7RLE on the 56 and 70 on a Sunday Evening verry nice ride on one of them @trident4370     :)  :)

71/72 are my favourites routes in my local area
NXWM managed to upgrade them for E200MMC's and for 71 (Claribels and Sunny Travel) operate extra services :)
