Any idea why a 49 was going down Frankley Beeches Road , effectively missing out Hoggs Lane and the rest?

Thought I was going mad, saw a 37 heading down lode lane. Turns out due to an accident they can't go straight the Warwick rd Island. He obviously turned left onto lode land, and was going to turn it around at the olton tavern! Seen another one just after turning into lode lane.

The new buses are starting to arrive, NX posted on Twitter: "One of 26 new buses being prepared for arrival on the @nxwestmidlands network. Coming soon to route??? #secret".

Not too much of a secret, the branding says "Sutton Coldfield"

If they were to increase the number of 60s, it would be nice if some could run as maybe a 60A to the Arden Oak, to replace the old 58, rather than having them all run to the Cranes Park terminus.

Thanks for all your replies Simon

Just a couple more, though

First, there are a fair few blue diamond solos I havent seen in a while so some must be off the road. Are there plans to repair them and bring them back into service or just use them for spares?

Are there also any plans for the ex yourbus presidents currently at long acre?

Thanks again

Peter

Peter

Which Solo's specifically do you refer?

The deckers are for Sale.

Simon

Are the presidents pretty much beyond use then? And wouldnt it have been easier to have just sold the lot to stafford bus centre or sold the eclipses instead of swapping eclipses for presidents with yourbus and then trying then to sell the presidents?

Solos I havent seen in a while are:

MX06BRV and
20826
Specifically

Also are there any plans in hand for changes to the tividale fleet in the near future as its not long now until the october changes kick in when you said that fleet requirements would be re-assessed

Thanks

Peter

I think MX06 BRV has been withdrawn

Does the 966 interwork with anything on Sundays? It arrives at Solihull Station at xx:42 and departs at xx:14?

Used to interwork with he S1 when they ran it on Sundays, now it just runs back to garage, I think

Also T72 WWV out on the S1 today

That's a Yardley Travel bus. Have VIP brought it or Yardley Travel running the S1?

Was the usual S1 VIP driveer (apart from the last few weeks)

I had the misfortune of catching a VIP 72 last night. Can't remember which one, but was a Y reg dart. Every time the driver breaker suddenly the engine cut out the the lights went off.

Sounds like T51 KLD

Also T72 WWV out on the S1 today

An interesting diversion on the 900 today, which I have just been told about. It was diverting away from the Coventry rd at Sheldon, down Valley Rd, Old Lode Lane. I bet S10 passengers were shocked to see a double decker down Valley Rd, comparded to the usual Solo or occasional e200!
When did this occur? I used the 900 today and there was no diversion :(

Im not too sure, my dad saw it and the driver told him he was being divereted. It was only towards Birmingham I think

The notice is still up on the NWM website, advising that due to a lane closure on the Coventry Road the S10 was suffering delays; I guess as a result some 900 journeys towards Birmingham were being diverted also.

The S10 wasnt too bad today I dont think, only journey affected that I noticed was the 11:00 from Cranes Park. I didnt see any 900s diverting,  was hoping to see one though  :(
