Sat allocation for 53 is B7 as is 289. 2 x e400 allocated to 120 to free up B7 to for mentioned services. However there is a reduced number of e400. So technically the tridents on the 120 are rare as should be e400 but this is impossible to do with current numbers

There were a number of Enviros on the 140/1/241, surely they could have used those on the 120.

Did this survey offset the emissions from the amount of people being carried? A full bus would create far less emissions than the equivalent number of cars to carry the load. Even a shed of a bus!

Why extend it to RHH, enough buses go there now as it is!

Should the 289 be b7rles. Doesn't make much sense when the 53 only gets Mercs and is a longer route. They don't interwork now. The passenger numbers are average I think for 289 now it's been extended

289 are allocated Mercedes 405n unless there is none available then any vehicle can go on there.

If I was running the country , evrywhere apart from the emergency services would have a week shutdown over Christmas.

It seems that everybody these days is more interested in money then spending time with family and I think this is very sad.

Great! Let's all spend family time in the cold and dark at home for a week at X mas. No tv no power no heat no places to visit..................

I think if the demand is there then why not. The Boxing Day service has grew year upon year to a near Sunday service it is still operated by volunteer drivers at a very good enhanced rate. If there is a demand for a reduced Sunday service on Christmas day then so be it but operated by volunteers then the staff who celebrate down to their religion can have it of and so can the ones who have the day with their families. For me it's just another day and if I had to choose between a turkey or 10 hours work at at least 3 x my normal rate then I'll take the money and run! On the subject of retail it should be closed Xmas and Boxing Day there are enough other shopping days around the year.

If NX were to win the sprint contract I think  they would need a new purpose built out station. If they don't I would like to think they would compete?
