New engine

Hi All. Just wondering if "new engine" actually means a brand new engine or does it mean a refurbished/rebuilt one ??  And what sort of cost would it entail ??  Thanks.

I know of two buses with them, An ex Nottingham Scania, there's a photo on the main site

They were fans of Leyland Nationals too. 

1993 to 1997 sounds about right I think.  

Quick question , does the 501 service operate to the same route/timetable as Green Bus did ?? Thanks. 

It would appear Chaserider has acquired a 17 plate Enviro 200 MMC ex Cardiff Bus currently tracking on the 71

D & G have two similar buses ,these and the above were acquired from The Bus Shop / Mistral.

I might go back and check the 'predictions' for 2023 .

I sort of posted in this thread for a bit of fun ,so, unless my eyes were playing tricks . Did I see a Diamond Streetdeck heading south on a low loader lorry on the M5 earlier today ??  I know that bus enthusiasts are everywhere so hopefully someone can confirm or not. Cheers all. 

Good Morning, I just saw a Red E200 on the 19. Just wondering if anyone knows the identity of it.

YX61GAA appears to still be in service.  I saw it on a 318 working one day last week.

It's more likely just a loan, Redditch have been borrowing a number of Tividale & Kidderminster buses the past couple of weeks

30702 is still working off Redditch ,it has a rear window advert asking for new drivers - with an 0161 phone number. 

Why are Streetlites now being allocated instead of ex-little Gems vehicles

May I make a strong suggestion @Simon Dunn theres clearly an issue with either A) the drivers on the 4H or B) the timetable. Since nx withdrawal of the route it has been terribly unreliable. I do not understand why this is.

I waited 40 minutes at Halesowen bus station yesterday for a 4H going towards Walsall. It was not any problem for me but a number of passengers were not too impressed with the new timetable !  And of course as we are loading , another 4H pulled in behind us. There was an announcement over the PA system apologising for certain services running late due to roadworks , I'm not sure if the 4H was mentioned though.   

Are there any pictures of the new 73 plates?

Similar vehicle LV73TWJ is on the 147 this morning. Just had a short ride on it.
