Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on June 29, 2024, 10:44:20 AM@PB50 4125 isn't Noteworthy it is the preferred Choice to go onto a Birmingham Route as it is Euro 6
It is noteworthy because it's not seen that often in the City, it's the only survivor of it's batch and in it's original livery. If there were other survivors of this batch and all (4125 included) in either current livery or Red and White the it wouldn't be noteworthy.

Quote from: RW on June 27, 2024, 05:32:26 PMThanks Tony but have I missed something? Why is E275 a 'repaint'?
It isn't a repaint !

Quote from: Celestial Toymaker on June 26, 2024, 01:57:22 PMwhich fluctuate, many have been transferred away and others cascaded in
i know my opinion counts for nothing, but it has been said within AG many times, that AG only gets the wrecks from other garages the only batch i can remember being untouched were Metrobuses 2226 - 2245 Rolls Royce Powered they lived out there days al most to the end solely at AG

Don't be ridiculous, AG had some of the 67xx Platinums when they were only a year old and they are still there

I  think I'll be to optimist on here, the glass is half full, not half empty:
It's great to see them out again, hopefully leading to a long term plan going forward.
NX clearly frustrated by the situation but in the circumstances they did what they could to get them back into service.
I'm optimistically looking forward seeing them on a regular basis.

Quote from: Jack on June 26, 2024, 06:55:39 AMThis is why you shouldn't bustimes spot... H1013 is in Pheasey waiting to start the 997, not in Walsall...
Yes you correct, now corrected

Quote from: PhageyMcPhage on June 23, 2024, 06:41:43 PMIt is about time that buses came with air con as standard. Drivers deserve better working conditions in summer and passengers don't want to travel in a mobile greenhouse. It is now standard in cars, trains and trams. Buses are way behind the curve.
I'm sure the new electrics have air conditioning

Quote from: Ronnoc on June 23, 2024, 05:01:31 PMI doubt AG would get Electroliners, perhaps they would get the new E400EVs later on due to bridge height restrictions on the 5.
It's already been explained that the current new E400EV's are going to be the last that will be constructed.

Quote from: BK63 YWP on June 22, 2024, 09:13:37 PMI swear I read a comment that these are for black country garages? Would think PN, WA and WN are ideal candidates as WB is potentially closing?
WB closing ? I find that hard to believe

Quote from: Celestial Toymaker on June 22, 2024, 02:39:22 PMstill no provision for Electrics at AG then ?
How many more times !
This batch was always, always, always, always going to for PB and YW !

Quote from: JosephR on June 20, 2024, 11:42:05 PMAswell as cut journey time travelling to/from/around the city centre while providing more links.
For example the 87 could go down corp st to colmore row (loop) and the 24 could do the opposite, through smallbrook Queensway then corporation st (loop)
How are you going to go down Corporation Street to Colmore Row ?

Quote from: Tony on June 20, 2024, 08:48:26 PMTotal capacity of a BYD is four more than a platinum
Don't be ridiculous, do you honestly think that passengers prefer standing rather than sitting ?
That's a good way of keeping passengers isn't it.

Quote from: Gareth on June 17, 2024, 11:20:34 PMI know it's quite easy to make fun and make jokes, but when there is an attachment to a vehicle, it can be a sad moment. We've all had our favorites over the years. I still miss 6488 and 3050 from Washwood Heath!
Me too, 3760, 4058, 6636 and 6953 from Coventry Road

Quote from: jasmine on June 12, 2024, 12:48:04 AMmight've already been asked before but will special liveries like pride, wmpte, wb corp, wa corp, etc die with the diesel buses in 2030 or will they occupy an electric bus in the future?
Some will be gone soon anyway, the BCT gemini at AG and the Woverhampton Trident could be gone by the end of the year

You mean they got their 33 and 51 mixed up.
The 52 serves Perry Beeches not Pheasey
