Quote from: Mike K on March 28, 2024, 08:08:58 PMThe predecessor to the current 76, the 69 was a very long route, particularly at the point it ran Weoley Castle to Heartlands Hospital via most of south Birmingham and the moon.

Don't forget the 49 which replaced the 69 by extending to terminate at Weoley Castle. Now that was a long route to Solihull too.

And the version of the 48 which took place after the network review in 2018. Where instead of going straight to Weoley Castle and Northfield after the QE it went round Hawkseley etc to replace the 84.

Thanks. It's going to be slightly annoying as I usually get off at the terminus on Priory Queensway as it's perfect for connections with the 16/16A/74.

So the X21/X22 are moving to Park Street then and 61/63 finishing at New Street Station and will then pickup at MS8A then u turning at St Michaels Church.
With the Perry Barr services moving to the current X21/X22 stop and 66 moving to next to the 94/95.

Where is stop 'BT1' exactly? Maybe I'm being a bit thick, but it isn't really clear from how it's described what route it will take.

X21 currently on its usual diversion whilst Weoley Avenue is yet again closed off. But the 46, which is supposed to do the same really, I've just seen go down Shenley Fields Road after Gibbins Road so maybe missing out Weoley Castle altogether. Yet the 46A before it appeared to follow it correctly so maybe the driver wasn't aware of the correct diversion.

Not sure what happened to 6892 but it's been unable to do the 7:02 X21 to City.

Seems to be running 22 mins late.

No surprise. X21s and X22s running in 2s and 3s at the minute.

5517 - X22 California, Barnes Hill.

X21/X22 feeling the brunt of yet more temporary traffic lights. This time by the Vale Village on Edgbaston Park Road. Hopefully won't be there for much longer.

Along with the ones on Vincent Drive near the Uni Station development which have been there for some time now.

Quote from: 2206 on February 12, 2024, 05:23:13 PMI was on 6864 earlier this afternoon and the next stop announcement onboard display was blank while the vehicle was moving. When it came to a bus stop it came on briefly and then it turned off again similar to what @Materplan said above.
I noticed a few weeks ago 7522 was doing the same thing. So it might be a fault on some of the BC vehicles maybe @Tony?

No, what I said above was it was disappearing inbetween stops then all of a sudden it went to the generic NXWM screen before coming back on again only this time the NSA stayed on, which is why I asked if they could be fixed remotely.

5504, 6843 and 6885 in convoy through Weoley Castle, outbound.

Quote from: Ronnoc on February 09, 2024, 02:40:06 PMThanks for the clarification. I'm guessing that 'E' working was to space the services out a little. Those traffic lights outside of University station are causing a bit of a stir for the X21/X22. But when is the X21/X22 not in a stir?

Not to derail this thread off topic too much but yes, those temporary traffic lights outside the ongoing development at University Station are a nightmare. That section can be bad anyway due to the right road and traffic but that makes it worse.

I was kinda hoping a bus lane would be part of the developments but I doubt it.

EDIT: To make it fit in with this thread, 6885 - X21 Woodcock Hill.
One of 4 X21/X22 currently going passed Uni Station outbound.
