It's a small outstation with space for 4 maybe 5 buses at a push which was the case if I remember correctly when they still had the 101 in Bridgnorth and the 125 and 142 were all operated out of their at the same time briefly. It has since returned to 4 with the 125 and 142 being operated out of Kidderminster.

Thing is those two routes were diamond services pre buyout of Hanson's so would actually confuse customers. There is apparently one in Redditch today
Not really as Hansons has previously had the 267/657 contracts in the past and the last time Hansons ran a route into Kiddy was in Summer 2010 the 252 to Merry Hill. So I would guess the first option would definitely cause less confusion. I am a where of a ex Hansons bus on the 51 in Redditch today but this should probably be talked about in the Redditch thread.

Well that failed as 21021 was on the 657 yesterday!
I would guess this is deliberate so Ex Hansons buses stay where passengers are familiar with them if for example one ended up on the 2L to Ludlow still with Hansons branding it would more than likely cause confusion. This also free up a extra spare Diamond branded bus for Kidderminster which would of otherwise been on the 267/657.

Was talking about the ex Hansons routes at the weekend, and wondered what people think about Diamond running the 318?

Anyone reckon there's any mileage in the idea of them replacing the 318 with an extension to the 43 through from Redditch? Bring back the old Redditch - Stourbridge route?

Also now that Diamond run a considerable number of services around the Bromsgrove area, anyone agree they'd be best placed to attempt something with the Halesowen route (147)?
Well considering that would mess up the current interworking System of the 42/43 which currently work fine with 4 buses usually long buses like E300s. Is the 318 suitable for E300s? But another option which could possible be looked at maybe is interworking the 202 and 318 possible?

Yeomans Canyon Travel have invested in a batch of 4 brand new Optare Solo SR's for Hereford operations and they should enter service over the next few weeks once they have received Yeomans branding and been fitted with ticket machines. They are as follows...

89: YJ17CVA
90: YJ17CVB
91: YJ17CVC
92: YJ17CVD

I have also been informed they are due a new batch of National Express coaches that are due for delivery in September apparently I presume they will be Levante's.

Been thinking... surely 30940,30941,30942,30943 would have been ideal swaps for the MANS?
I have been told they are definitely not moving to Kidderminster I did recommend the ex Royale Plaxton Centro's but they are probably a bit to posh for Kiddy.

It's a personal preference mate I prefer Mercedes engined Solo due to the wineing gear noises and @Will prefer Cummins engined Solo as they sound and are very powerful.
