Saw a toothpaste liveried omnilink coming out of Knowle today (Sunday) Was showing not in service so don't know if it was a private charter or even route training but to my knowledge NXWM don't operate in Knowle its only Blue Diamond so doubt it would be route training! Any ideas on what it was doing?

Who's lucky job is it to drive it all the way up to Dundee?

4101 out on the S1 today. The B10's must be nearly extinct at AG!

Not sure about Central Connect, other than they run evening services and i believe the Sunday Service too. As for Claribels. I believe they operate the old nxwm 72 route but under the 71 number.

I hope they leave the signature buses alone! Especially the Mercs on the 82, I enjoy riding on those when ever I use the 82.

Not sure if this has already been answered, apologies if it has!

What will happen to the 37 which Blue Diamond compete with NXWM, although I use the word compete with loosely! none of the buses that operate the route will meet the new emissions as they are old darts! Are they going to withdraw or will they reduce their frequency (not sure what their current frequency is though)  or will newer buses be introduced?

Thanks.

I just assumed with it being next to the train station there would be some demand! But I guess not!

Thanks for the reply though.

Apart from the 966 and 900 are there any other routes operated by NXWM that go VIA the Airport and Train Station? I know there was the 58 which used to go there but is that still running as ive not come across it for a little while.

How come more routes don't run VIA the Airport or Station or is there just not enough demand?

I've seen warwickshire operators running there but surprised theres only 2 NX routes!

How will this new emissions ruling be policed? What's the implications for any operator breaking these rules?

I agree with you Nathan, would love to see the 966 SD especially with the new B7RLE'S and even perhaps increase the frequency, but sadly this route does not serve Birmingham City Centre so as pointed out by Stu doesn't require buses with low emissions so we are going to have to put up with the Presidents and the noisy gemini's.

Because there are several B10's that run the 37 alongside the omnilinks aswell as the the 5 and S1 so even though they are getting the new urban eclipses, which will mainly be used on the 71/72 will that leave enough buses for the routes that are currently B10 operated. It's why I wondered if they would transfer all the B10's as it would be ashame if they all left as they are the best SD in the fleet (in my opinion)!
