Quote from: Jay71 on March 04, 2024, 02:03:37 PMBut they have they changed things around?
Possibly.  Certainly its more of a faff to check on timekeeping.

Quote from: Jay71 on March 04, 2024, 12:46:46 PMI've recently noticed something different on bustimes.org. When you click on 'track this bus' it never says if the bus is running late or early.  Noticed this last night. The same thing has been happening today
You can track the timekeeping by clicking on the bus's destination on the map, eg 16 Stourbridge.  This will then show whether its on time or not.

They operated the shopping bus from Sainsbury's into Wombourne village (Tues and Thursday) which was previously operated by Midland and for a short time by Arriva.

Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on March 01, 2024, 10:47:23 AM79 and 74 to the rescue from Wednesbury to Brum let's hope West Brom aren't playing at home on that Saturday otherwise that could be manic and put even more pressure on the already gridlocked M5 J1 and Birmingham Road. I know many Albion fans use the Tram from Wednesbury to West Brom or from West Brom to The Hawthorns after having Drinks in the town.
Only one home match effected:  on 1st April 2024 via Watford.

Quote from: MW on February 29, 2024, 09:49:29 PMThe original contract went out for 105 weeks, until 01/11/25. I know that Solus were awarded on an Alternate basis, but it looks like they've chucked it in rather than the contract expiry.

Can you confirm?
Stagecoach have been awarded a temporary contract from 3rd March until 24 March 2024 while the contract for the Sunday service goes out for emergency tender.  (Info on TfWM timetable page)

Quote from: B7RLE on February 29, 2024, 04:29:51 PMDoes every operator accept the connecta ticket? Do MRD and Clearway of Catshill?
Yes unless they only briefly enter the county every bus operator accepts them. There are also local versions covering Kidderminster,  Worcester and Redditch.

Please note coach services are excluded.

Quote from: MW on February 28, 2024, 07:54:18 PMIt's a floor levelling problem by the sounds of it. NXWM 4500 does the same. Makes you feel like you're on a boat when stuck in traffic.
Some of the NX Tridents did the same.

Quote from: Westy on February 24, 2024, 11:08:37 PMAccording to Tfwm site, Service 19 timetable extended hours of operation from tomorrow!
I know the plan was that the withdrawn journeys would be reinstalled if the antisocial behaviour could be dealt with. Let's see how things go.

Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on February 21, 2024, 10:55:49 PMI once caught a 79 and asked for my usual Adult Daysaver at the time £4.00 we were in Darlaston at the time as I went to put the Ticket in my Wallet I realised it was a Sandwell and Dudley ticket I didn't even know WN Buses could issue them, went downstairs at Wolverhampton and told the Driver he printed a new one and said it was the Ticket Machine which had made an issue. I'm sure at one point Darlaston was able to have both the Walsall Ticket and Sandwell and Dudley might be wrong. At this point that may have ended so if it was GPS the ticket Machine on that bus classes Darlaston as Sandwell and Dudley Fare Zone. I was more surprised a WN Veichle had it to be honest
This was a problem on the WN operated 15/16 too as from time to time passengers either deliberately or accidentally travelled to Wolverhampton using a Dudley & Sandwell daysaver.

Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on February 20, 2024, 08:37:02 PMI clicked on the 997 earlier and it showed it's departures but not if it was late or early, but all other services that aren't affected by this issue are normal
That's what I meant, Google Maps are only providing scheduled times, not real time info. That's why I think it's a third party issue.

Seems to be an issue with info from whichever company provides tracking for NX as they are not tracking on Google Maps either.

Quote from: ellspurs on February 18, 2024, 05:41:03 AMMy thoughts are this also. Day tickets bought outside the nBus area would be the "daysaver extra" ones, which wouldn't be valid on any other nBus. It's the only thing that makes sense, as anyone buying a ticket in the nBus area would just have a normal one that allows the use of the other companies' buses.
However as explained the Daysaver Extra is for travel outside the nBus area to say Lichfield where the normal nBus Daysaver isn't valid. To me it's pretty clear that even if you start within the nBus area, to travel beyond it on NX buses you will need a Daysaver Extra.

Quote from: JPC on February 17, 2024, 05:28:24 PMThe NX website has I believe recently added a few fairly detailed 'Daysaver Extra Maps' which suggest the Daysaver Extra is required for "travelling outside of the nBus area including Staffordshire, Worcestershire or Warwickshire".
The regular day ticket page continues to say £4.50 for all ops in the nBus zone and all NX.

Am I correct in saying the Daysaver Extra is the day ticket you receive when boarding a NX bus outside the nBus zone? if so this still needs to be clarified correctly on the website because there is still an obvious conflict in the infomation there.
From what I can tell from the additional information provided, this is the same price as a regular daysaver (nBus) but ONLY valid on and can only be purchased from NX Buses both within and outside the nBus area.

Quote from: Sandy Lane on February 16, 2024, 10:58:02 AMHello TfWM, Coventry calling, over.

We are now 5 days into a fortnight's service disruption in east Coventry that is not shown by the TfWM system from what I can see.
Issue is that access from Willenhall Lane to St James Lane is not possible.
NXC 13 affected and well advertised by NXC. Bus destination blinds accurately showing Binley instead of Willenhall.
SC 60 on a major divert as well.

Surely this situation should be shown on the TfWM system or is it there and I have missed it?

Just checked on TfWM page and Coventry 13 not even listed.

Other Operators / Re: Travel Express / Lets Go
February 11, 2024, 01:03:29 PM
As I've mentioned in a previous post about Let's Go, according to one driver if a regular driver or bus is unavailable for the contract routes (63/64/65/303) they will take a bus and/or driver off their commercial routes as they get paid to run the contract and would lose money otherwise.

As for the stops in Chapel Ash, although 891 was added to the list of services on the stop flag this seems to have been an oversight by TfWM as the 891 doesn't stop there.
