Hi @karl724223
No TfWM aren't desperate...they saw an opportunity to invite me in as an outsider and a enthusiast. Also as they carnt always get things right, with my expertise in detail (except for Coventry) I do pritty well considering... also they said to get as many people envolved as possible... I can only assue its because of the workload that they gets so much wrong!! 😁
So that's another reason why they asked me to get envolved as I have very little to do during the day except for my other things that envlove NX and stop lists!!!!😁

Seasons greetings all, been a while since I had mooch around this forum.
Still stood outside during breaks in bus shelters, no McDonald's, sainsburys cafe etc.
I would like to know how come Birmingham garages have a staff bus running around all day while westbroms has been taken off. I have to bring my car to keep warm during breaks my walking to work has nose dived this year.
oldbury is strategically important to management for great building blocks for duties not important enough to provide facilities though.
The man who assaulted and racially abused me last Christmas in Oldbury was found guilty at Walsall magistrates court recently thankfully all witnesses turned up to give evidence, the most annoying part nothing from national express, platinum bus with video and sound recording no help to me in court.
The court awarded me compensation which I will donate to Birmingham children's hospital.

Times have moved on. Otherwise there would still be an Airbus service. Also in the last 20 years thousands of more hotel rooms are available at the NEC/Airport.

I bet they'd be even happier if the schoolkids were left to just roam down the streets themselves.

@karl724223 - are these wee beasties any good, or much different from the 11 reg or the proper NXWM 14 reg ones - I don't travel on West Midlands ones but some of Go Ahead London's 61 reg are appalling rattle traps (and they don't have a coin vault) - the driver's door and bus door/ramp area being especially noisy, others and especially 65 reg are actually quite smooth and pleasant - the short wheelbase seems to accentuate either non smooth driving style or non smooth mechanicals (especially transmission and suspension) - in lay mans terms, would I get a nice kip on one after a skinful of Bathams, now the pubs are back open, or would I be in danger of vomiting with motion sickness 😁
