Just to add to Chris's comment in the repaint thread - have repaints of the new Coventry blue livery been suspended? Only 4836 has been done - with others in the 4830-42 range being repainted into the old scheme. Seems a strange situation just to go back to the old livery - has/will something else been/be devised?
The reason that no more 2 tone blue is happening is because people in Coventry think every bus in the new livery means it has Wifi. Not being offensive but these people are somewhat thick. @paulb1973

One was at WB for MOT
I wonder if some of PB's have caught the same diagnosis as WA's '61' plates had in June. Meaning Walsall has to put Tridents on the 51, as most of their E40D's wouldn't start up.

The Hassop Road, Grindleford Road stop, outbound heading up to the terminus, has had its timetables display door swung open and its timetable gone missing.

Had some good drives on 4656. There was a period when I had it every day for a few days in a row. The final day of which, I was involved in an RTC. Bus was off road for a couple days.
It was my first time on it. After the doors closed the fans would start going like 4276 does. AG do keep their vehicles in good condition. I am really starting to miss the Presidents.

Thanks but I want to know all recently added Walsall names.
You'll find out soon. Why don't you go out tomorrow and look?

1935 - Scania Omnilink

Caught this morning to City. I remember this from the 37, use to be a stalker at AG. Nothing's changed since its days on the 37. Fast pulling away, good suspension and good brakes. The doors are very slow. The interior needs a refurb, seats are all tired and the paint still looks presentable compared to WA's red/white Omnilinks. If you look closely on the windows, you can see where the big 37 stickers use to be. Good bus = 9/10

4283 - ALX400 B7TL

Caught this on the 33, full route. Ridden this one before. Right after I get off 1935 this pulls up. First time riding one of these on the 33, very weird too. Fast pulling away, suspension was naff, the brakes were loud and squeaky. The doors were squeaky aswell. Interior tired, original TWM trim. Paint looks smart, interior lets it down. Not that bad = 7/10

4914 - E400 (E40D)

Caught this on the 80A. I remember this on the Suttons. Fast pulling away, suspension awful (not sure what's happened, never like this at PB) brakes were terrible. Doors fast, interior could do with a 'deep' clean. The Branded looked really smart. The paintwork is looking orange now. Shame = 5/10
WB have ruined this bus.

4656 - Gemini

Caught this on the 5. Great bus, fast pulling away, good suspension, good brakes. Interior smart in Crimson, Exterior is smart. Cooling fans going the whole journey. Doors made a right racket. Low vibrations. Nice kickdown. Good bus = 9/10

Been meaning to post this for a while:
144 is now mainly Streetlites, B7RLE Centros and the double deckers from recent observations. The number of Enviro 300s continues to decreases with 67650 now at Potteries and 67651 withdrawn and awaiting the first of the former Leicester B7RLEs which are currently being refurbished/repainted for the 144 to displace it to Potteries. This is all due to the Enviro 300s not being aloud into Birmingham due to their emissions. 5 E300s are set to stay at Worcester.

South Yorkshire B7TL/ALX400 31789 is currently at Worcester for maintenance; the first of 3. This is due to very poor maintenance resulting in shortages of buses.

Most of this info comes from the Midlandred.net website
Shame. The First E300's are the best I've been on and 100 times better than Diamonds. Shame they are no longer going to be on the 144, which is a great route for thrash.

Thanks for the info @Dylanbusboy45

It stands a good chance it did.

Whats the alternative, the 11 runs dead through the Myvod section to Wednesbury & the 13 runs dead between Myvod & J9 via Ikea area or dead between Myvod & Pleck via Darlaston Road!
The 11 going up Hobs Road was about 7 years ago now.

Things have changed now and Buses will use (if the 11 needs to) Myvod Road (have seen a few go up there).

Last year they resurfacing Trouse Lane. Meaning that the 38 (was still running) and 79 were diverted down Walsall Street/Wood Green Road and then left onto Myvod Road, up to The Myvod, straight over the island onto Woden Road North and then right onto Old Park Road Road and then they're at Darlaston Road. It would of been sight to see, Tridents going up Myvod Road and Old Parl Road on the 79!

The regular service for that area the 13 has diverted down there in the past.
I'm sure I've heard that the 11 (311 as I still call it) went down there after an incident on Wood Green Road a few years back. Looks weird seeing buses going up there (even though I use to live around the corner from there) lol
