YYX56JUE on the 50 today. I believe it was in the new livery. I was not expecting to see a Plaxton Primo in the new livery.

4682 appeared to be working hard. The hydraulic was screeching any time the engine was revving. It left Walsall before the bus which followed it in.

I travelled on 4682 on the X51 yesterday morning. It pulled up at traffic lights alogside a Scania on the 907 and was left standing when they accelerated away togather. It was then left behind when  pulling away from a stop on the hill into Walsall by an Enviro on the51. I had thought it was running on time but another X51 followed it into the bus station so was presumably 20 mins late.

Double or treble doors work very well all over Europe. I recently travelled on a couple of treble door MAN City Lion's in Dubrovnik. I believe single door double deckers are required in Britain because of the lack of Rapid Transit systems. Buses are used here, particularly in big cities like Birmingham on routes which take on hour or more at peak times to get to their final destinations. In these cases the maximum number of seats possible are required. It is much more acceptable to stand on a railed vehicle, which are much faster. I regret Birmingham scrapped the trams instead of modernising them.

Have any of the Enviros from 4914 been seen or are they the 25/26 mentioned coming later this year in the NX statement/

1652 and 1672 are still in the original 1999 livery. Is this a record for length of time before repaint? Travel express excluded of course.
