There was a ridiculous amount of train cancellations today, as the whole week, all due to a lack of train crew being available, apparently there's been short notice sickness, something doesn't seem right, if you look at the number of cancellations, there must have been a fair amount of staff with sickness, reflecting on the week, it seems the train crew problems are far from over

I'm fine with this, only got meself a weeks pass for this week and it looks like I'll be getting the lot back inn compensation

To get the cost of a weekly pass back you would need to be delayed by over an hour twice a day for 7 days

Well, a fair whack of it anyway, out of the 12 trains I've had to catch 6 of them have been cancelled, including a late night one meaning an hours wait

That does look really quite good but it'd be great to see the 9 go the 24hr thing to - Perhaps a 9A linking up with the 97 after midnight, using the 127/128/129 route in the city centre. Even if the use the new Wright/Volvo single deckers on the quieter days, double decks on the busier mornings ie Saturday 00:00-06:00 and Sunday 00:00-06:00.

West to East route so to speak.. Getting a taxi to and from Halesowen must be a killer, especially for airport drops! - It costs me £10-£15 just to get back to Bearwood (skanky Falcon Cabs gangsters  >:( )

And then we get back to the "we need night buses everywhere" debate...

Hoping they do the usual two museums day with Wythall on the Bank Holiday, usually go to that, lots of bus rides available

Beyond me, who would own up to pretending the various paths in their local park/estate are actually bus routes whenever you're walking through. I've pretty much spent most of me childhood creating (in my head) an entire network of routes around Perry Barr and Great Barr

No but the 59 does get full quite often so just 1 bus say every 20 mins would ease the amount of passengers standing up.

In all the time I have done revenue checks on the 59 I have never had a completely full bus

Alas when I worked it all out I only had 25 days worth of pass during those few months last year, just not enough to get those tickets... Gutted.

On the other hand, two grains cancelled last night, leaving a 2 car 170 to Hednesford as the last train of the Saturday ( usually busy as it is) with an extra 2 train loads of people, that was fun...

Question... When will the timetable start? Will it start at 00:00 with the night services or with the Sunday daytime service?

If previous reviews are anything to go by, the changes booklet will appear about 2-3 weeks before 9 June, with the roadshows starting at the end of May.

Yeah I've got work aswell, but hopefully only til 12 so I can still make it. Didn't realise about the timesaver

Aston Manor open day this Sunday, anyone going? they appear to be putting on a fair few bus rides, to sutton, Walsall, chasewater and Birmingham

Yeah its a shame, it'd be a lot more realistic if there were other buses driving around.

Hopefully they'll address that in GTA V.
