Just had a Fantastic Idea!!!!

Use the Miller St Graveyard as the Night Bus Depot and instead of using Brand New Fleet for Night Services, use the fleet of Crappy B6's, that way no one would be able to tell that they had been trashed running round the Night Services and the only people who would see them would be too P***ed to care lol  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

You say that, I struggle with b6's at the best of times, id imagine trying to squeeze myself into one of the seats drunk would hurt

In Rochdale they appear to be moving the utilities and laying the track between the railway and bus stations in one go.

That's because, in manchester, they actually seem to have their act together and really going for it with the trams

Other Operators / Re: The Green Bus

Plus it only ran for a few hours in the daytime, presumably just to make use of the buses while not on school runs, which leads me to guess they've found another use for them?

Something I've found curious, they've closed corporation st and bull st etc in the city centre, and in some places have dug up the road and relaid it, and yet still no tram lines, so they're gonna have to dig it all up again to do it later. Seems a massive waste of time and money to me

What puzzles me is why there has never been any mention of this on Centro / Network West Midlands' websites. Even when the survey was available, it was never mentioned.

Would they need to though? If it only affects the residents in that area and the parish council seem to have done the job of consulting them

I would agree, I don't think Diamond are that bad at all. The only problems are (and what people will pick up more on) that:
- some of the routes they run seem half arsed efforts, yes ok they are doing quite well with routes like the 002 and 16 (which they have run since time immemoriam) but have gven up on the 17, 59 etc. If they developed more routes, routes that would be different to any current routes but seem like there would be a need for, and had the conviction to stick with them (I'm assuming that's how the 002 came about) then people would probably start to see them differently
- a lot of people don't like darts, and they have quite a few of them

4681 on the 51 has already been mentioned...

4296 and 4638 on wb5
534 on wb49 (possibly not unusual on Sundays)

21/03/13:
811 on the 80
4810 on the 53

That must have been interesting. Especially at peak time

No different to when they used to send B6s out on it

I'm sure I saw a B10 on the 66 this evening, went past on cuckoo road when i was leaving work and i'm sure it had 66 on the back

Normally supportive of buses and I understand that change is necessary sometimes, but this constant shuffling of bus stops around the city centre is becoming silly now. hasnt been a year yet and as an example the 51 (and the sutton lines) has changed stops 3 times already, people who dont usually travel by bus are going to be so confused
#3583
interesting, although it's only as strange as when nx introduced the 908 (or now 89)
#3584
ah right, just seen it meself... That now means there will be a different 46 in pheasey... Oh dear
On the plus side though, now goes via galton bridge station as well, could be quite handy for me

Also just seen on there that the 99 has a route change in the welsh house farm estate, assuming which roads it means then im glad because some of those roads are a bit tight

The 651 is being replaced with an extension of WB's 46 from Scott Arms in to Pheasey

Where did you find that? Seems a bit strange, makes sense I suppose but still, strange
