Always seems a lot of standard diamond vehicles on the joint routes such as 40,42,43 instead of using the vehicles in red

23 & 24 Stop outside New Street station stop NS2. New stops served on Moor Street Queensway stop MS10 and at Colmore Circus stop SH10.
I suspect either Colmore Circus or New Street Station

And you are more likely to be 'breathed on' by someone coming up asking you politely to move your bag so they can sit down than someone sat next to you facing the same direction. It is face to face that is the problem hence why backwards facing seats are still not in use

So what are you going to do if someone goes to sit next to you then?

Does this article mean that all forward facing seats will be in use from Monday? Including those next to other passengers and therefore capacity is increasing?
"The Department for Transport has accepted a risk-based case produced by the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) for the use of every forward-facing seat on bus services in England. As a result, that will be permitted outside London from Monday 17 May where capacity is currently constrained on busy journeys."
I just noticed this already written on NX Bus Website, so it happening then.

In regards to the point below in the article:
""This is about trying to solve problems at peak times," says a CPT spokesperson. They add that at less busy times, it should still be the case that passengers are expected to socially distance when on board."
I don't understand this bit either - why would someone sit next to someone, when there are seats available elsewhere.

Mostly cause by the huge diversion in West Bromwich where buses were losing around 20 minutes. Any idea how late the Diamond ones were with their much shorter running times?
