Sorry typo... SN65 0JA arrived today OJB arrived yesterday

SN65 OJB arrived this afternoon. I belive the 3rd and final one comes tomorrow. The X20 branding will  be 'From the Bard to the Bull' featuring a large raging Bull and a image of Shakespeare....  Looks superb.

The first of the MMC's  SN65 OJB arrived this afternoon and is awaiting its very strong vinyls being applied. Look out for them when they hit the road they'll stand out and look superb. The other two will follow shortly

Noticed 6147 on the 50 yesterday appears to have a couple of damaged lower offside body panels. First one I've actually seen with any RTA damaged. Looked a little shabby so hopefully  they'll sort it out soon.

Jersey Bus Crash
I happened to be at Portsmouth Docks yesterday and could see a Jersey Enviro DD in the compound. I'm assuming this is the same vehicle going back to ADL for body repairs? Could only see last two-thirds of bus but probably a good guess (I guess)?

Saw 847 on the 126 yesterday afternoon - never seen one of those on here before

I believe the answer to this is that for some unknown reason Logan's rejected the original registration prior to delivery so their vehicles were re-registered by Plaxtons leaving YX15ZSO still available. I haven't any explanation as to why they didn't want this batch but they are definitely NOT the same vehicles.
Never heard of anything like this before!

Not sure if its a coincidence with 4818 being that last 48** at Pensnett but I drove past it a couple of days ago whilst it was on the 140 and the inside of my car was filled with diesel fumes....Very noticeable and probably a very tired engine?

Sad day if 1518 has finally gone.... No more straining of the neck to see if the Merc approaching  is the grand old girl I remember on Day 1.... End of an era. There are a few 'first day in service' memories over the years..... Fleet line YOX 77K ( I have her front registration plate)   Fleetline 4304 and more recently Trident 4580... Hence why I was saddened to see her current state.

Nothing else at the moment. 9 vehicles is the optimum fleet strength. The 07 Gold Coach has now gone. It is highly unlikely that there would be vehicle transfers from Johnson's even though vehicles of both fleets appear at either depot for maintenance or body repairs. There is talk of one of the 08 midi coaches crossing to Kiddi now that Johnson's have taken delivery of their 3 brand new midi coaches ( 2 x 29  Merc  Unvi's & 1 x 19 Merc Sprinter) but no decision has been made.

Busy few days ahead at Johnson's... Today the brand new Whittles 15 plate Plaxton arrived (see Whittles thread). Last week two of the new 15 plate Unvi Mercedes midi coaches arrived (haven't had chance to get reg nos yet as they seem permanently out). The third is due any day as are the three new Enviro 200 buses (we're checking for signs of maroon paint when they arrive just in case they are Nx AG's cast offs ( lol). The 3 MMC Enviro 400 replacements for the X20 are due in September when I understand the existing 09 Optares will be sold.

I thought is was to go when the new one came... But the 15 plate actually arrived a day early so it might still be there... Haven't been on site today

Not 100% correct. The fleet isn't increasing as the new Plaxton is a replacement for the 07 Gold Coach which will leave the fleet in part exc. sadly not enough work for this specialist vehicle so she has to go but at least the 15 plate is a full exec vehicle which fits the fleet profile better.

9 Branded 6113 on 140 this afternoon

Do we know the fate or whereabouts of 4580 after its fire in April? Not sure how long it takes to repair this sort of damage. Hopefully it will be back soon.
