I have been told that the 89 is actually being revised to terminate in Bearwood. Not sure exactly how this will work, I'm guessing that from Victoria Park it will head back down Bearwood Road, as it restores a link lost a few years ago.
And gives onward passengers the choice of changing at Victoria Park or at Bearwood to get more frequent services to city centre.
I don't know any more than this at present.

If this is true passengers will be able to change into many routes along the way like the 80,87,12/A, all the other Hagley rd series exc.. maybe it could inter work with the 49/48A

At a guess they may have 4845 etc...

The 97 brandeds haven't moved ?

As I said. Not the 97 brands. The 46** have been heading out far and few for months. Which are expected to go since there's only 4 left at bc

With 4881-4894 I would have thought a few more tridents would have been cast out (meaning the 46** , not the 97 brands)

This is starting to become a common occurrence. Is it noteworthy an e400 on its home turf (with the route transfer to PB in October)?

I don't know if buses are suitable for walmley ash lane but, Im gonna take an eager guess that it it will loop around Walmley ash lane, Peddimore lane, A38 in either direction.

PB loosing a few E40Ds, I don't think YW have any of those? Not sure as of recently anyway. 

Looking at the aesthetics and the practicality of the new grey livery, I personally don't like it.

An all grey (be it two tine or single colour) will always look very dull, especially as dark nights are approaching. Couple that with very sparse red relief which doesn't really break up the sides and the orange LED blinds which dont appear as clear, it's not a very inspiring livery.

From a practical angle, it's ideal for replacing large panels and touch ups as there's no great lining or other relief to worry about. It also dilutes the Platinum brand too as everything is now going to be grey.

I agree with everything said here. 

It just would have been nice if non- platinum vehicles kept to the crimson/ blueson, would have an earlier uniformed e400 fleet, and uniformed diesel platinum fleet (the better grey). At least till the time it became withdrawal. Then for this latest one to takeover till it changed again. 

I don't see the problem with keeping old livery's if they are clean, and uniform with their vehicle type. Especially considering in a few years they'll need to go early due to electric- only. 

I cannot imagine there are many passengers in Birmingham who would travel on either service all the way to Merry Hill, they aren't exactly quick express routes.

Most people using transport from Birmingham would go on the train to Cradley Heath and change to a local bus for Merry Hill at the interchange.

I meant the fact on their way from merry hill, they'll both serve Halesowen and (near Quinton on X21) before hitting Bartley green and Ridgacre.

Even though they'll take different routes, People don't want to be waiting around for a bus so people going from Halesowen and merry hill would probably appreciate the fact they can get on either nxbus at a reasonable timing.

Will the Sunday X10 timetable be changed with the extended X21 (heading both to Birmingham)

I didn't think I'd bother as a non existent place like 'hasbury' appeared on the 67 Christmas just gone. And I supposed this was another false terminus. I did Google it and it's not a landmark yet. The Peddimore development isn't a public site. Nor is Peddimore lane ready so really and truly it should be 'minworth'

Will probably be somewhere where passengers can easily change onto the 82/87. Either Cape Hill, City Hospital, or Spring Hill I would guess.

I acknowledge that. Seems blue and cream was a grand livery. With me I think it's more the stripe I don't like, however on the new delivery's the livery you can tell is sort of dissimilar to the repaints. The white/blue fine line vinyl helps, the back roof top also sorts of breaks it up a bit.
