If the Soho Road services were single deck, they wouldn't be a problem. The 6 is now single deck and it is fine. It was on the same level as the Soho Road services before, with all the Tridents smelling of weed.

Hmm... Where do I start...

-The whole NX fleet in ONE livery, I don't care which, the whole fleet in one is good enough!

Anyone able to photoshop a NXWM bus in one livery?

The ONE train brand!

What do you mean photoshop a bus in one livery? Every bus is in a livery.

The original quote said I'd like to see the buses is one livery. I don't care which, but one livery.

What he means is a single livery across the whole fleet. I don't know where trains have come from.

With regards to the 27, if it gets upgraded to Scanias, I'd quite like to see a branding associating it with Cadbury World! Perhaps a purple allover livery, to fit in with Bournville's purple lamposts and post boxes etc!

Or even purple wheels!

Yeah thats the bus 4512, also 6021 bendi bus at NX Coventry is the only bus i know left that still has the number on the left side of the front display and has been like this since new, even after the reprogramming for the network review at Coventry

Actually another AG Gemini or ex AG Gemini's back display doesn't work.

One of the Presidents at AG has its rear LED fallen out of place and you see half of it.

Yeah, I believe it's 4527

On the subject I've geminis, I'm rather glad the '03 examples have transferred to WB, they sound a little different to the '06 examples, and they've really grown on me, I think they suit the soho road corridor well, you get a decent amount of geminis on upper bull street nowadays

One of the ex Acocks Gemini's now at WB still has the 'im a smart bus' on the display  but i dont know the fleet number of it

That's 4512.

WB is good while AG get lumbered with Presidents everywhere lol.

Hold on, that bridge is 100% tall enough. NIS Presidents run through there when terminated at Five Ways on the 1 and returning to the depot. Definately!

President is same height maybe even a bit higher...not sure...

The bridge is taller than that. A NBB bus driver told me, back in the day, on the school bus. He was an ex PB driver for TWM, and said that the bridges in Birmingham are taller than it says, for safety reasons. Whether that's true or not, I don't know.

Tridents are not as tall as Presidents as Tridents fit on the 5, whilst Presidents don't.

There is a low bridge on Highgate Road, the older Metrobuses would have just fit under it, but the current double-decks are all too high to go under.

That is rubbish

I know what bridge it is, it's right by my college, however if a President can fit under there (one of the tallest deckers NXWM have, if not the tallest) then anything can!

I quite like the 50 terminus at Druids Heath.

Omni's on the 8... Imagine it, what a waste.  :'(

How is that a waste?

I think the 8 deserves to be converted to a double deck route as it gets very very busy at peaks, but I think there is a low bridge near Saltley Gate, but then there was a President on it once, so it may be fine. Too much for the Mercs, but they still cope with it.

I mean a waste, as in decent buses used on a not so decent route.

Ah, it's not too bad though. It just goes in some s*** areas, but as a route it's okay. It suffers from a lot of traffic along the route and the frequency could do with increasing as the Mercs simply cannot cope at peaks.

Excellent, if only double deckers would fit inside BY!
