Excellent news. Fingers crossed for the residents of Warwickshire that Stagecoach Midlands can amalgamate fully with NXWM/Cov to create a really good integrated transport network stretching from Oxford up to Cannock. Let's hope the monopoly commission keep their noses out otherwise passengers will get short changed by having multiple companies.

This sort of deal needs to be the future of bus travel, not lots of different companies with no common links.

Can I ask were you this excited when rotala acquired Hanson's, central buses or indeed redditch and Kidderminster?

2099 starting from cradley Heath station to five ways on X10

An odd one. Caught 496* on the 12A from Dudley to oldbury at 2:20. Followed the route 12A even though it should have operated the 12.

Bustimes shows 834 scrambled to cover the Halesowen-bound leg, with 2106 heading for Stourbridge.

No bustimes shows 834 leaving merry hill 40 minutes late and not reaching anywhere near Halesowen. It went from merry hill to cradley Heath rail station and back on time now. I would hardly say cradley rail station to merry hill is deprived of a service.

Also 2 x10s left merry hill together, 1 on a x10 to five ways. Was sat in merry hill bus station for ages so I presume no driver available to take over

So 822 on the 28 has broken down for the 12:05 departure off Halesowen, and the 13:05 looks no where to be seen.

I must say how impressed I was sampling the new 71 reg mmc today. The nice smell of a new bus, nice interior and then heart radio blasting through the speakers on board. Simply outstanding and a great addition to their already modern fleet.

Does anyone know if a decker is meant to be on the X50? Been a decker on it for the last couple of months but this week has reverted back to b7rle operation. Anyone familiar with Worcester operations able to help out?

I'm guessing there's an issue with the trains as the X21 and X22 are getting absolutely battered. Just seen an X22 just leave passengers at Uni North Gate and an X21 arrive at Uni Station towards City already full with a massive queue waiting not long after that. Not seen that many people at the Uni Station stop in quite some time.
