I went on a tram to Oldham last week,rails being laid thru the town last tram back into manchester on fridays/saturdays 01:54!!extensions and new lines being built,and what have we got to look forward to snow hill to new street how exciting?

Having recently become a member off the barrier staff I have found the only way every ticket and pass can be inspected is to actually stop every one  then huge queues build up,which is frustrating for every one. 

On Uk bus fleet news just found a picture of 5413 at Leyland this morning.

I notice the only reg missing is for 1234,I have seen VU62GMO but was unable to get fleet number so it may be that?

Another one Tony 1220 VU62 GVA.

And i notice the 62 reg is not on the list either has it gone?

Tony,some I have seen not on yor list are,1217 VX62HRG,1219 VU62GPO,1221 VU62GPV and 1227 VU62GPE.

I totally agree with you,it annoys me that manchester and nottingham are extending there networks and what do we get a completely pointless extension to new street,we should have had wednesbury to stourbridge done years ago.

It looks as if blue is to become the main colour.

Would imagine they will be red/blue/black or red&white,ie any colour.

Well I did the 14N a few times in the early 80s and there was allways plenty of drivers prepared to do it,probably only once every 12 months.
