The Saturday service is Tendered & looking at the timetable even though I dont know the area I can see the 877 & 878 are designed to drop you off on the way back for the other route maximising the carrying potential for 1 bus

Could be fun on Tuesday if Perry Barr haven't altered their blinds by then as we may see BC showing 55 & PB showing 95 or could be vice versa

Foremans rd has been closed all week which may have delayed the flag alterations for the 36 & 41

That's what they said in their press release.
I wouldn't have thought it would have been commercially viable to run later.

It's not a core city service you know it's a rural service designed to keep rural communities connected which in my opinion & since it's been running so long it does well.
If you think you can do a better job then apply for your own discs buy some buses & give it a go yourself.

Select have a long history in this area with route knowledge going back to green bus days. I'm sure they know their passengers by now

The future of route 424 is still yet to be finalised by Tfwm, so I cant comment further at this stage unfortunately

@Tony the 96 changes along Hurlingham & Danesbury really need to identify they are hail & ride as unless you were a 604 passenger youd never know & the 96 needs to attract more than the 604 has ever carried along that stretch of road

@Tony nx are also guilty of not mentioning hail & ride sections on their timetables

@Westy bus companies are free to set up their own diversionary routes & do not have to follow each other.
Claribels and nx often differ when setting diversions on the 94 & invariably one operator finds a better way than the other & then the diversions end up the same.

Good assessment. I very much doubt there would be time to go to shard end shops its going to be tight as it is.
I fully expect there to be delays to the 96 route

New 96 tt is on the network west Midlands site

Mablethorpe have both a Land train & a Sand train (along the beach) connecting the holiday camps with the town centre. Both compete against the Stagecoach bus & the pirate bus
