On the http://wmbusphotos.com/index-old.html page, the Coastal Liner link takes you to DJX587Y page instead of the fleetlist.

Thanks
That should be sorted in the next couple of minutes

How long does the 966 take then ?

about 42 minutes

So service 71E is faster but if you only got a NX bus pass then stuck with the 71/72/966 ;D

With a timetabled difference of 1 minute, I wouldn't say the 71E is always fastest

The only time the 71E stops is half way towards chelmsley wood for connescinarry users. After that it hardly stops which is quite good

So you are saying the 71E runs early, taking less than the timetabled time?
Not good, operators can lose the licenses for that

Goodpoints, I know that I went into the Pavillions Travel Shop for a copy of the Wolverhampton 2 timetable, then when I got home realised it was for the Walsall 2! So I do wonder how the general public manage when they obvioulsy have less understanding of the route networks than enthusiasts.

Walsall 2? The pavilions don't normally stock Arriva Timetables!

It is two photos that need stitching together first to get the full wide angle, I will do it soon

It was taken about 2 months ago at around 17:30. The only buses not in use were in the seperate maintenance building

I have a photograph which I haven't yet put on the website showing a completely empty Acocks Green garage, not a bus insight!
#19643
More like 1 in 10, most garage only have about 10% spares

No they haven't put Darts on the 74/75! I think there has been about one in the last 6 months covering a breakdown

Yes the cost of repainting a bus is over £1000 (by quite a bit depending on how many panels need replacing)

Wolverhampton are getting more new buses, Them hybrids should be placed on the 126 if there going anywere I dont see why they would be going on the 1 uless there single decker hybrid buses

The Hybrids would be useless on the 126. Hybrids are better for start stop traffic routes, so they run on electric more. At long distance or speed they use the engine, and therefore consumes more fuel. The 126 runs up Hagley Road & bits of Wolverhampton Road where it doesn't stop for a while, so they wouldn't prove to be too effective.

These hybrids are bought with government money and part of the bidding process would be new low carbon vehicles for routes that would not see investment at that time.

That's not strictly true. The government only pay about 80% of the difference in price between the standard bus and the hybrid, so an Enviro 400 hybrid is still more expensive to buy for the operator than a standard Enviro 400

I am now told, instead of patching it up, it will now be going to Walsall paintshop this week to be done properly.

The NX 50 is really slow and has older buses than diamond usually do.

The oldest bus regularly on the 50 is Nifty Fifty 30804 KV57 OVV !

What type of Vehicle is that?
