Why is there only 2 vehicles on the 94 today?

Before Simon replies, do you know there is only 2 on there or just looking at a tracker?

Quote from: Simon Dunn on December 09, 2022, 08:55:37 AMWe have grown our profitable work as a result of the Johnsons acquisition, and the buses that we acquired which we don't need we have deployed or sold.  So - why wouldn't we be happy?

In terms of the Scania's.  We will continue to use what we have.

I'm terms of you losing all of Johnson's previous work bar the 149 you can probably see why I'd question the success of the acquisition. Yes you've kept some ex Johnson's vehicles but couldn't you have just brought second hand buses of the market?

Looking back would you say the acquisitions of Johnson's was a mistake considering that you lost the Stratford work?

What's the plans for the Scania irizas in burton?

Quote from: hlliwmai on December 03, 2022, 11:18:44 PMWhat genuinely? Oh wow although I'm not surprised I must admit I do agree with @Trident 4194 though the buses that Diamond use on the 4H are at times diabolical & quite honestly crap! *some* are freezing cold (STILL!!) and slow up Coombes Road/Gorsty Hill or on the one occasion the bus that my partner was driving refused point blank to go up Gorsty Hill!! totally ridiculous it's no great loss in my opinion I'm sure the people of Hayley Green; Halesowen & Blackheath will breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Diamond won't be running the route as of January....

The people of Hayley green are awaiting to see if nxwm provide an enhanced frequency. I will miss diamond on there, however as I have said already the standard of service provided has drastically dropped

Awful shame to see the 4H being withdrawn start of January. I can't say I'm surprised however given the slip in standards of the service provided sadly - drivers using wrong displays, wasting time up Walsall to leave 30 minutes late, drivers not stopping at bus stops.

Few years back there was the 13 plate B7RLES which had branding specifically for the 4H as well as the 07 plates. Now it's given practically anything that the depot can find.

The 4H has a long history, dating back to ludlows days where they ran the 417.

Now the plan is to only run the 4 West Bromwich - Walsall which I hear will be in partnership with NXWM

Have to love the 11A/C service. 4527 running about 15 minutes late, driver didn't seem in any real rush. At bearwood he gets out and has a fag for a few minutes then gets going again. Rings control and they say yeah just go villa park instead. Sign me up to this role

2 passengers get on my 11C at harborne today sit behind me drinking their cans of beer or whatever shit they are drinking and then light up a cigarette right behind me. Why should I have to put with this?  And I'm sorry to say the 11A/C is the worst route for clientele I have ever had the displeasure of travelling on. I avoid it if at all possible

What a strange attitude you have towards the people that ultimately pay your wages!

A train driver apologised for the delay and so do pilots so why are bus drivers exempt? Obviously you wouldn't expect a driver to say sorry to every customer but still

Small Heath roadworks are causing chaos for the X1/X2 services. Buses over an hour late

Don't know what's going on with the 11A, 3 vehicles have turned right onto the Bristol road from selly oak and then 4651 has just continued straight on doing the normal line of route

Yeah, I know. Which is why I said when the students went back. But obviously at the time passenger levels were nowhere near normal so I can understand the caution.

They were generally busy before the pandemic anyway to be fair, trains or not.

As a regular on the X21 and X22, I must say the X21 from Weoley castle to university is far busier than the x22 gets between Bartley green and university. Whenever I catch these services out of Birmingham regardless of the time of the day they are usually pretty much full by the 3rd stop out of Birmingham.
