Thanks Tony, that makes the position with NX clear but I think some of the independents may run into problems.

Social have Y381FJN on the 11C in addition to those shown on the fleet list.

From recent observations SN51SXU is now numbered 2 and NA52AWZ is numbered 3.

I look forward to seeing how NXWM cope with the new restrictions on emissions from May 21st 2017. I have not yet seen any of the Euro6 conversions and I think a good number of new buses will be required as well. Also it was suggested that the new rules will apply to Solihull and Wolverhampton soon. That would mean even more new buses.

I visited the show at the NEC and was unable to find the GKN gyro drive. There was a short article in Coach and Bus weekly recently saying that work on the gyro drive had stopped. If this is so what will NXWM get instead?

6829 0n the 957 this morning, also 6832 with NX logos and the name Ronnie Morgan. Well done NXWM/BC.

I saw 6832 0n the 957 today and it has no branding at all. I think the branding on 6825-8 leaves no room for route branding.

6825, 6826 and 6827 on the 957 today. They advertise their attributes but I could not see any route branding.

Saw 2240, with the thicker nearside fleet numbers heading for Birmingham on the A38. Presumably returning from Scarborough.

Thanks Tony for the info on 22XX fleet numbers. It would have been a difficult one to spot. I saw several of them in Solihull yesterday. I may have been mistaken but I thought 2207 had the thinner numbers.
Will other upgraded vehicles have the same treatment?

Does anyone know yet if the X1 will be diverted via Coleshill Road/Chester Road on its way to Coventry or if the journeys to Coleshill Road/Chester will be an extension of the current 900E? If the latter is the case I would have thought it would have justified a separate route number.
