314 PFM.  New to Crosville in 1960 and later saw service with Western National. And it certainly has been a resident at Kidderminster for some time. So '2206' is probably correct in saying it has been there since last autumn.   

 I did not know that they had acquired the 06 Solo ,I will have to hunt it down !  It was new to Bebbs of Llanwit Fardre.   F22SSE was new to St Dunstans , Brighton , a rehab centre for blind veteran service personel . It is recorded as a "DP" vehicle , as well as the above mentioned curtains , it has coach style seats and also I have seen it out on a private hire with tables fitted.    

Midland Red net forum says 35152 is at Worcester awaiting a new engine.   

The 66 plate Boa Vista's will be too old, they'll be 8 years old this Autumn. I suspect they will all be returned off lease & sold off including the 18 plate examples.

Thanks as ever winston.  I can think of one [East] Midland operator who uses double deck coaches on Scania chassis who could be interested if the Boa Vista's come on the market. 

The Boa Vistas have been on the network for 7 years.
These are the replacements the announcement was made by National Express themselves several weeks ago

Does anyone have any idea what will happen with the Boa Vista's ?? Are there any other NX routes that would have a use for such vehicles or will they get sold off ?? 

Very nice !  Their recent full size coaches have been Scania's I think.

And look to now have moved to Yutong's with both YD73FPV and YD73FOV on rail replacement work at Coventry today.  

Eminence Enviro 200 YX61 FYE is currently on loan to Birmingham Airport.

It's back with Eminence and on rail replacement at Coventry today , along with YX61GAO, BF73CFE and BV70UAK. 

 Carolean had an all white Tourismo - BX15OEE on rail replacement duties at Coventry today. 

Having spoken with the owner last week, I can confirm that Mercs YX04FYJ has replaced Solo YG02FVX which has left the fleet. 

Kev's could run it as depot is near Bromsgrove less dead mileage

How about Royal Motorways ??  They now have an operating centre in Redditch and seem to be having a go at many various aspects of coaching. 

247A is one service a day on school days though, so keep in mind it is pretty inconvenient. It is open to the general public but from my experience the double deckers are usually full on the way back. (never been on the way there)

I missed out  'with these withdrawals leaving only the S45 and 247A'.  Good to know that there is a chance that another operator could take on the 182/183. Let the speculation begin !

That's a shame, the good folk of Alvechurch will soon be without any buses at all , good job they have a decent rail service. I caught this service from Redditch a couple of weeks back , there were 8 of us aboard on departure and 2 of us actually travelled through to Bromsgrove. Mind you , getting through the various estate roads were quite a challenge as driver had a E200 instead of the usual Solo.On arrival at Bromsgrove I congratulated the driver on his skills and asked if a Solo gave better manoeuvrability ? He smiled , pointed and said those are even better - a Mercs/Mellor.

Absolutely no problem.  I spend literally hours trying to decipher my hand written 'scribbled down' bus and coach registrations. For example I have written down the 'reg' of a double deck coach only to find the 'reg' is of a minibus based in Shetland . . . . .    The registration can usually be corrected by various methods including reports sent in by folks like yourself  -  keep up the good work.   

UL55 UNO (the only double decker in the Royal Motorways fleet) is running each day on the 501 school service from Bromsgrove to Alcester.

After a chat with a Royal Motorways driver yesterday , I can confirm that the only d/d in their fleet is registered UJ55UNO. It is normally based at Redditch. 

MRD have been using YX04FYJ , a Mercs minibus on their Bromsgrove services this week. Not sure if it is a loan vehicle or if it has been acquired as I have not had chance to speak to the driver yet.

Still not had chance to speak to the driver but I can confirm this vehicle carries MRD legal lettering.
