Is there an up to date list of garages and which routes they operate following the East Birmingham Service changes. Have any garages lost or gained routes since the change? Sorry if it's already been asked/answered. Thanks in advance.

I know it's not West Mids related but I now live in Inverness and today at Inverness Bus station there was a driver in full NX uniform driving one of Stagecoches Citylink liveried vehicles on service to Aviemore (34X). Is there interoperability between the two company's?

Thanks for the reply Tony!

Apologies if this has already been confirmed, but what makes people so sure that these enviros that Tony has posted pics of are for West Midlands. It would appear that they've been registered in Scotland judging by the registrations, so maybe these are for Dundee?? Again apologies if this has already been confirmed!

Secondly, I think the 11 would be due an upgrade more than the 37!!

Saw POJ yesterday on Land Rover/DHL run. It's now been put into their new livery. Looks much better than plain white!

Hi

Any plans in the pipeline for an upgrade to the 966? Maybe some newer buses to replace the ageing presidents!

Wouldn't mind seeing some investment on my local route (966). Not a fan of the presidents, wouldn't mind seeing some enviros or even tridents running the route, but that would mean AG gaining a new vehicle type. Do BC still run a early morning run on the 966?

Although none of the new vehicles that have arrived recently are in Silverline livery which is a shame, they're just plain white!

So?

Why's that a shame. I'm sure they'll be repainted before entering service. The Enviro200's were in white when new.

The Enviro's were repainted as they were for the Blythe Valley Shuttle along with the Mercedes Coach which was repainted for the B90. However, when they had the 'S' reg solo's one was partially repainted and the other is still in its original livery which looks rather 'tatty' and the 2 new Scania's have been in use since April and are still in White. The reason why I think it's a shame if they stay in white is because I think its much better seeing a bus in its operators livery. I personally think that the Silverline livery is quite good and therefore hope thay they do get painted before entering service.

No I dont think so. They already operate a shuttle service for them, to a car park near the airport.

The shuttle is being run by the Coach side of the business at the moment, so the buses must be to take over from them then if these are for the Land Rover. Silverline seem to be expanding slowly as they have 2 new Scania Coaches at the Depot which have been delivered recently and I don't think any vehicles have left the fleet. Although none of the new vehicles that have arrived recently are in Silverline livery which is a shame, they're just plain white!

Anyone know what this new contract is? Could they not use some of their coach drivers whilst they wait for the vacancies to be filled?

Thanks for the info. I guess these will be to replace some of the solos? Hope they get painted into the current livery. Will have to try and catch one of these.

Saw what looked like a wright streetlite parked up at the side of the Silverline garage. Any ideas whether it's a loan or another new purchase?

All in a days work! How come you visited so many garages in one day?

It may be an infrequent service, they are not timetabled. (They might be trying it out so that they might introduce a daytime service on the 636 and 966 in the future).

When I was in Erdington last Saturday, a VIP Dart came in on the 966 around 10am, it arrived 5 minutes before the NXWM 966. It then parked up on Sutton New Road and was there for over 45 minutes, so I don't know if it left for Solihull. (The driver had changed the destination to Solihull).

I've noticed that there are a few VIP darts in Solihull throughout the day. Never been able to see the route no as they only ever have the front display on and not the side or rear. But I presume it'll be on the 966 as that's the only route it operates on in Solihull to my knowledge.
