What do you consider to be the steapest hill climbs either locally or on your own bus route, also what vehicle usually operates the service. I guess mostly Dudley services will be mentioned here.

One of the steapest i know within West Bromwich is Charlemount Farm when it used mostly b6le's they used to climb it at walking pace but now with mercs it seems much better.

This bus was down as being withdrawn on the rotala fleet list last month and was seen today on the 404E and also last week on the 410, i guess it could be withdrawn but becuase of any shortages being used in the short term.

The Archive / Has it Improved?
July 02, 2012, 10:32:42 PM
I wonder what peoples views are just over 4 months since the Coventry network review took place, has your service improved with all the changes and ammendments made or do people feel the old services were better, personally as a regular user of catching the bus from the rail station to the city centre the choice of more services at a higher frequency the review has improved my journey, what about others? Also how do people think it should have been changed or ammended to improve it even further.

The Archive / Any new investment for Diamond
June 17, 2012, 07:29:30 PM
I just wondered if any knew if Diamond were to recieve any new buses or any plans to pick up any dealer stock buses. I read on another thread about why the centro's were taken off the 404E and the cadets put on but the investment on the 404E and 16 seems to have gone backwards from the 08/58 centros to 60 reg mcv's back to 10/11 year old cadets. Would be good to see an investment on these more popular services

Rotala / 50 Birmingham to Druids Heath
June 07, 2012, 10:36:06 PM
Do people think it would make more sense for the 50 to be operated from long acre under blue diamond due to the dead mileage it has returning all the way back to tividale then for example services like the 22 in Walsall and 679 in Wedensbury could be operated by black diamond

30128 a diamond hybrid versa has internal screens which have hanover passenger information display screen on them, is this going to be like a crystal eyes system or for the next stop information like NXWM hybrids have got for the 22/23 services as i know similar systems are going to be used in Dudley on certain routes there were also 3 other versa's aswell as this one on the 404E today but did not have the screens installed on them yet.

The Archive / MCV Evolution's
April 25, 2012, 05:19:53 PM
Today i saw an MCV evolution on the X30 (AE10CUG) and it is an ex wessex connect branded one2one service, are these the last ones to transfer to new zealand or are they being kept, also what are replacing these buses are in the midlands and down south, is it the enviro 200 from Veolia for Wessex and the smaller darts and preston solo's for the midlands.

"Rotala increase profits by 14%" Page 14 of edition 432 states the business growth into commerical markets has increased turnover by 26%, so is this the reason why they have lossed contracts like the NEC one so they can move more into commercial services?
