Quote from: JosephR on March 24, 2024, 09:20:54 PMMatches? There's repaints with a solid red line, ones with a patterned red line. Repaints with a full line, repaints with bits missing behind the advert frame. Repaints in two greys. And repaints in a single grey colour.
Oh and now vinyl with bits of red showing.
What's next? Grey without the red line?

Things can only get so economical before they get cheap and pointless
Due to the current situation NX needs very minimal vehicles off road.

Quote from: Tony on January 02, 2024, 10:09:54 PMAG never get new buses? All those Scanias in 2010, all those B7RLES in 2012, 50 E200s in 2015 didn't happen then?

Similarly WB didn't get 33 brand new E400s in one go, then batches if E200s then the Platinums for the Dudley Road
And the Geminis Investing in Sandwell/Black country/Dudley did really put NX on the map and was highly sought after by local authorities.

Quote from: EK40 on November 20, 2023, 07:02:36 PMid guess because the advertising companies want buses that spend most of their time in the city, hence PB and BC since all their routes get into the city where all the people are, while WA basically all their city routes are served by platinums which dont get all-over ads.
Fair point but it all seems one sided into city nothing Black Country end i.e Hagley Rd corridor, Soho Rd corridor ect.
Back in the days Hockley garage was ideal it covered every angle into city.

Quote from: Sh4318 on November 07, 2023, 05:40:57 PMAgreed, now the 12/A (previously 120) serve the Portland Road, with the 13/A (previously 127/128), they could do with less singles, the odd single here and there is fine during the day, but off peak, it's not uncommon to see standing passengers on single deck services
Passenger shouted at me whilst getting off a rammed scania " I'll be getting an Uber next time driver ".

Quote from: dw1308 on July 08, 2023, 07:11:45 PMFrom a drivers point of view I agree there is no decent platinum to drive. I much prefer a trident and the odd enviro at BC specifically 4910, 4927 and 4905 decent motors on em and don't feel like a slug can overtake you at any moment
4905 must of been fixed then as it was struggling to pull away when it was on loan to WB.
