i have been work and slept since then you know, lol

Right,

2217 is at thurmaston and normally in operation, Don't think it's been out much this week so far.

2346 has come from the reserve pool to Thurmaston depot and should now be back on site, as it was off site monday receiving attention somewhere else.

two more london cast off ALX400's have made their way to wigston depot as well and are now in use, these are 4791 and 4792.

there is a wright streetlite currently sat at thurmaston, it's a brand new and, as of yet, is unregistered, it has been given the fleet number 3999, it is a 45 seat door forward variant.

should be some more gen soon by the look of it....

we have received no V-DBC's as of yet, which I find surprising.

as for the 200's not sure if I am honest, all of them seem to be kept busy working the 53 and 53A routes. the odd one has also made it onto the 58/A due to us being a versa down.

The arriva Lowlanders are still undergoing refurbishment, there are still a few knocking about in old colours but many are in the new livery.

What is the fleet like over there any ideas if anything new is coming as a lot of leicesters stuff has been coming to the Staffs/West Mids

According to several spotters, a new Wright Streetlite has turned up at thurmaston and someone said to me it has the fleet number 3999 and that they heard it is a permanent allocation.

in terms of other new stuff its mainly ex london Stuff, 4791 and 4792 have arrived this week and are already in use on the 47 and 48 loops.

there will be some transfers from Leicester to Northampton in the new year, leicester will have some incoming single deckers from Potteries, sound to me like they are tarting both up a weeny bit making a package out the two and flogging them.

Leicester should fetch a decent if it was up for sale, with Northampton tagged on to Leicester First would at least get something for the operation instead of having pay the associated costs of closing it down

Indeed, but I still think its going to be the only feasible option to help sell northampton. if First are to make a good amount of profit the odd profit making area will have to be sold off.

Other Operators / Re: Centrebus
November 29, 2012, 06:58:32 PM
It has been confirmed that Centrebus will be operating all of Leicester's park and ride services from Maynell's Gorse, Birstall and Enderby from the 28th January 2012.

they will be taking over the contract from Roberts who inherited it from Paul James Coaches/Veolia.

It was never sold. the poor girl caught fire and was withdrawn and then scrapped, however, they took all the usable windows, body panels and all useable fittings to maintain the other lowlanders.

they never really sought a replacement.

2401 is technically in the reserve pool now. this was a Thurmaston allocation until it blew itself up or something, a week before the BMMO event.

Its the same as mos topics on here lol, it starts off and u can garuntee that cannock, stafford or other garrages get vrought into it lol, so are leicester definetley having the 10 V/DBC volvos back and will 3611 return from Wardles?

lol, aye it does.

3611 will likely stay at wardles, vehicles that go there normally stay put there.

Upon further reading I mistook ADL Enviros for Volvo B7s-sorry!

The Enviros look like being 44511-5, but there are 6 Optare Solos MX56 NL?, CN06 BXH, VX57 CYO, CN07 KZK/L/M.  These COULD be 53016-21, but it needs confirming.  There is another twist to the tale of these exc-Veolia buses.  Despite being on a Midland fleet list, the allocation of the CN07s is given as CHELMSFORD, which aint in the Midlands!

sconehead85

Other than the two Enviro's we already know about at Worcester, the rest listed are with First East England @ Lowestoft. Not at Kiddi & unallocated as that that fleetlist states

which means that they might well be allocated to the X1?? P'Boro' - Lowestoft/ Great yarmouth?
