Title: Arriva & its printed timetable for Walsall service 19
Post by: Westy on September 22, 2012, 07:29:13 PM
Does anyone at Arriva know that Blakenall in Walsall is not spelt 'Blakenhall'?

Everytime they've been involved in Service 19 & 319 before it, the printed timetable they do is always spelt wrong!

Is there any other 'famous' mispellings on timetables that have never been corrected?

In Burton there's a village near by called Tutbury and they've spelt it as "Turbury" and the road I live on is called Sydney Street and they've named it as Sydney Road!

Not on timetables but on destination blinds. Darlaston is mispelt as Darleston on Joe's Travel destination blinds. When Diamond (BCC) ran on the 103 between City and Four Dwellings the destination boards carried in the windscreen read Ford Dwellings.

Just having a poke through Arriva's timetables and came across the 610 it inherited from Midland. Apparently, it goes to "Dudly"...
