Giving the current climate with people still working at home due to covid, will future extensions be done as bite size chunks.
There is one extension I would to see but not sure if it is praticle.
A spur of the line from the town hall going round the side of newstreet station down Hill Street, the a single loop via station street (Stop outside the station) then dudley street, ladywell walk and stop by the theatre before re joining the line at hill street.
looks like from today's Tory conference PM speech, that Andy Street will get the funding to complete all the tram extensions from the cancellation of HS2 BRUM to MCR. Which will greatly help local communties in the long run, no doubt Andy street will be banging the drum that hes secured the TRAM Network
More photo opportunities for Mr Street!
He was contemplating quitting in protest earlier...

Apparently this one to Solihull has the backing of the blues owners just one small issue, Sprint is already going that way so what's happening with that, plus you already have the train and frequent buses which he wants to Franchise when will every politician realise we aren't like places in Europe we can't integrate our transport because people will still own cars for many more years

But this would be roughly following the 97 route which has neither trains or sprint
