How many of these are there in the west mids?
This one at Dudley Zoo says it used to be at Alicante.

                  Drayton Manor ??    Alton Towers ??       Going back to holidays with my parents , I recall most seaside resorts having them.  8)

Sorry this isn't the West Midlands, nor the UK, but this thread has reminded me of a holiday I took in Rhodes (Greece) in 2017.

I stayed in the coastal town of Ialysos, which had a 'road train' running around the town. I took a ride on it one afternoon, was very pleasant!

Mablethorpe have both a Land train & a Sand train (along the beach) connecting the holiday camps with the town centre. Both compete against the Stagecoach bus & the pirate bus

I've done a freedom of information request and here are all of the permits which have been offered for land trains in England and Wales which use public roads. May be useful to some people here.
