It just happens that someone of that same name will be looking to hang on to their job in the May election so expect to see bucket loads of media exposure in the run up.

I don't want to be pessimistic because I think we are long overdue such a network but considering they're £20 million short for the Camp Hill Line stations, how on earth are they going to get £15 billion (slight coincedence that the original cost of crossrail was the same amount) when every city in the country could make a similar claim asking for such a network.
