Has any tenders that Nx/Igo up for tender?
I would of thought 15/16/17 evenings and Sundays would be up the tender soon?
I've put an FOI into WMCA, which is due to be replied to in the next few days with the tender specs for this round.

That's a matter of opinion. Having two mayors covering each of the 7 districts (local mayor and metro mayor), and a police and crime commissioner is a bigger one.
Anything in Walsall up for tender?

Wouldn't it be easier and less hassle to ask
@Tony @Simon Dunn and who ever is in charge of Igo for the tenders

Are you able to confirm who has won the ones that Diamond have lost please?
https://www.tfwm.org.uk/operations/bus-services/
No need to waste tax payers money. When tender results are confirmed they will appear on that web page at the bottom.

I haven't got the details to hand, but NX have won some new routes
It will be interesting to see if the routes lost by Diamond (208, 267, 657, 288) are given new "local" route numbers from April.

To be honest, now Diamond has bought most of the opposition, Nx has a better chance now!
Anybody know who won the 39/A?

@I love Walsall buses the companies don't put routes up for tender.
Sure someone can explain it better than I can, but the tenders are actually issued by Network West Midlands for routes that are socially required to run but don't make enough money to be operated commercially. Then bus companies will bid for these tenders saying how much money (public money) they would need to operate it. The tender is then normally, but not always awarded to the lowest amount of money asked.
Banga have 22/53 in Wolverhampton will they get more solos or some think else for it

I didn't think nx could win tenders as they are unable to bid the lowest due to high wages?

They obviously found a way to bid competitively judging by the above wins

Two number 10s, Two 7s and a 14A (208?).
Are NX renumbering the 288/267/657?

NX wages aren't higher.
They start from £9.88/hour and will get paid 7 hour 36 min regardless of how long their duty is. Duties can be spread over 10 hours. That's £75 a day.
Diamond pay £8.80/hour and pay straight through minus one hour. Over that same 10 hour duty, Diamond would pay £79.20 (9 hours pay).
Landflight pay £8.60/hour but actually straight through. 10 hours at Landflight would be £86.00
NX just market their hourly rate stupidly in my opinion. They say we pay you for your driving time. So what about that break in between that could be 2-3 hours in the middle where you're just sitting around?! If we divide that £75 per day that NXWM pay by 9 hours (like Diamond), you get £8.33/hour.
So it's all deceiving bollocks. This is based on the starting rate at NX. You should be paid from start to finish in my opinion.

Yeah likely and who knows there could be B variant for 12 to replace 122.
Be interesting to see if nxwm draft in more minibuses for these routes, as I'm pretty sure there isn't enough short wheelbase enviro200s to go arround. And can't see a full sized e200 getting arround Langley village or the surrounding roads with great ease. Never know might be surprised with some wright streerlites similar to Dundee's, or more E200s.

We could quite easily give up 3 of the 5 Streetlite's to be honest... We only need 1 for a Angus Contract and one for the 360... And if they have up the 360 as being rumoured in the local press that would be 4....

The one for the 360 is the ex-demo StreetAir though, so if that came down here, whatever garage had it would need charging facilities. Still, that'd meet the Euro 6 requirement.
