Title: LED destination Blinds
Post by: PB2938 on December 10, 2018, 12:28:11 PM
Don't know whether this has been mentioned but I've noticed some destination Blinds going back to static with some very useless signage.

X4 Minworth Via Aston Expressway
X51 Walsall Via Great Barr

They seem to have one via destination No 2nd signage like EG
X51 Express a service
AS previous before scrolling Was introduced.

Some of Wolverhampton's routes have reverted back to the old scrolling style too, rather than the newer one introduced with the #ThankYou100 blinds. I noticed it on a B7RLE on the WN3 earlier.

This has been said before. The BC, YW routes etc have been like it for a while. I agree there's a lack of information.
WB have approached it differently though it seems. The 74 switches between "via West Bromwich" & "via Hockley & Soho Road". And the the 82 says "via City Hospital & Dudley Road".

I agree the X2 displays also show a lack of information about where the route goes, all they show is:
X2 Solihull Station
Limited Stop.
I'm sure AG's 72 display also shoow more information though.
72 Solihull Station.
Via Sheldon & Marston Green.

Interestingly, from what I have seen today, PN buses are still showing #thankyou100.

Surely after 4 weeks, all garages should now be showing "via" points on the blinds again?

How come PN & WN have gone back to the old style blinds?

BC are. Like the 61/63, just says via Bristol Road, 45/47 says via Pershore Road. Most of the destination boards are lacking. Mostly relying on the branding

Surely all garages should use the same?
