Ones that spring to mind are NXWM, Arriva midlands, Midland, Travel A2Z, Midland rider and Central buses

Don't forget our friends at Heartlands/Tamworth B&C/whatever Mike James decided to call hmself...
Can someone confirm that it is 3rd Feb that the 35 is ending? Because then there's going to be a few weeks of them and Central Buses running together

Having had access to both registrations it is indeed Feb 3rd for the Arriva end date, for some reason they didn't get the dates matched up with that one... or the 15 and 115 for that matter.
this means Piccadilly will no longer have a service?

Stagecoach 766. Some journeys a day go round that way
Seems like quite a reduction on the Walsall - Lichfield corridor from 3/2...
Seems about the right level to me
So hard luck to the residents of, for example, Sandhills and anyone wanting a day out in Lichfield?

Tbf anyone wanting a day out in Lichfield still has a decent day out looking at the times

Not massively, still generally hourly, just perhaps a few less journeys

Was only hourly if I recall when TWM ran the 991 so never really been a high frequency anyway, 1 per hour seems more than adequate plus the 35B round the villages. Looking at the times from 3rd Feb when Central start running all the 35/35A journeys the timetable is broadly similar to the existing Arriva 35/35A.

Service 901 was a reintroduction of a fast direct service between Lichfield and Walsall
prior to deregulation - pre-deregulation the frequency was every 2 hours. I expect that this reintroduction was prompted by a perceived risk of other operators doing something similar.
At deregulation the frequency was increased to
every 30 minutes and extended, via Lichfield estates (omitting Lichfield bus station) to Birmingham via Sutton Coldfield.

The 381 (via the villages) service became a regular hourly frequency in 1986, so 381/901 provided a combined 3 buses per hour end to end:

Various cutbacks followed culminating in WMT quitting the 901/ 991 altogether in November 2007, but not before an interlude of Petes Travel competing with WMT for while.
