Title: 451A
Post by: Nathan4775 on June 28, 2012, 05:15:34 PM
I was on the 451 Today towards Sutton Coldfeild and I was thinking is it not possible to Extend the 451 to Erdington High Street, i was think it would be very profitable in the Daytimes and Weekends

The 451A would enter Sutton Coldfeild the way it does now then Come back out the Same way but go Straight up towards The Yenton & Erdington High Street, Stopping opposite the Current 451 stop in Sutton Maybe using the 66/66A bus stop

Just a suggestion

or possbily reintroduce the 366A

The 366a only ran evenings and sundays and from experiance when you got to sutton a birmingham route was just infront and it was a waste of time and even when coming back not many would catch you they would get the sutton lines routes as usually most wanted places like falcon lodge and roughley that was a reason why it may have been ditched unless some can put more light on the subject

Nathan -your 451 'extended' to Erdington -why do you think this would generate any significant extra revenue? the 904,110, and poss a few others have that route covered already?  The 66 from erdington would take you back to the 451 route at Finchley road anyway .  Although the 77 could be extended along rough road to Kingstanding circle- then along Kingstanding road to re-join its present route at Bakers lane-might be a better Idea-at least that would give kingstanding circle passengers a reliable :) 'bus' to walsall-(direct) for a change!
