Kaur is a name used by Sikh women as either a middle or last name.
Mr is an abreviation for mister, a man.

R.K. Travel 72 Timetable - http://www.travelinemidlands.co.uk/wmtis/XSLT_TTB_REQUEST?language=en&command=direct&net=cen&line=35072&sup=%20&itdLPxx_direction=H&project=y11&outputFormat=0&itdLPxx_displayHeader=false&itdLPxx_sessionID=CEN_EFA03_24731415&lineVer=2&itdLPxx_spTr=2&itdLPxx_operatorCodeForTTB=RKT

So they'll just be using 1 bus on it then.

Looking at the 4th June 2017 Solihull area Network map the 71E and 72 appear to be the same route. Are R K Travel reducing their service to one vehicle or am I missing something?

Rk travel is a "seperate" company to Sunny travel. Sunny travel will use 4 buses on the 71e & rk travel will follow the same route using one bus as a 72.
As best I can figure

R K Travel were using a white Dart MPD today, showing route 72 on a digital destination. I couldn't see the registration very well, as I was driving, but it was something like KYZ 7298.

r k travel is part of sunny travel because the woman who normaly drives the sunny travel bus was driving the rk travel bus.
and the bus she was driving used to be with discount travel solutions. the one with the back destination

Solo1 posted a picture in Photo Links before it was re-registered. (https://www.flickr.com/photos/stanjack/36469375153/) KXZ 4299 appears to be the new registration plate but it was previously NA52 AXO.

Anyone else noticed that little white dart that's been running on the 72 recently.

More competition for that corridor after Claribels withdrew the 71A.

It displays Chelmsley Wood as 'Chelmseley Wood' ???, surprised that hasn't been amended yet

I'd hardly class one bus as "competition" but I get your point  :D

I saw it once back in October. They get decent loads, but I'm surprised they only run the one bus.

Give it a few months and there will be more, or another route, just like the rest of the related companies.

No-one should be stop hogging in Solihull from today as the new AQPS rules have come in from yesterday. Anyone reported to the TC for breaking the new rules can have their service registrations cancelled

Good! It also stops other buses pulling into the other stands. Shirley services, 31 and X12 etc.

Forget emissions, I'm sure the white one is running around with no legal lettering. I couldn't see any on there today

KV03ZFS now has a piece of paper saying it belongs to RKT Travel. That makes 3 RKT and 1 Sunny although I couldn't see any sign of ownership on KV03ZFU.last time I saw it.The timetable may have changed but that can't be relied on as in Yardley the 73 is still shown as going to Solihull Station and a few stops still have 59a on the flag.

KV03ZFS on the 72 today, apparently on one of the RKT duties. Last time I saw it was on the 966. Could be a spare for the Sunny group.

I doubt, it the companies are run seperately. They never swap buses or drivers round. I believe it was said on here that when the buses are moved between the companies they're actually sold between them and it certainly doesn't happen that often.

KXZ 4299 and KV03ZFS have been the vehicles used on the 72 recently with NA52AWZ being the Social contribution to the service.

I travelled on KXZ 4299 on the 24th December on the72. This may have been the last day RKT and Discount operated the 72 as I didn't see any out on the 30th or 31st. KXZ 4299 was the only one I saw on the 24th.

Think RK Travel were back on the 11A today. After a nearly 5 months suspension due to COVID 19. As sure I saw a white dart at Ward End following the 11A route earlier.

Registration for RK Travel says cancelled. I guess they can be moved to the ceased operator section on the main site, as they haven't ran for some time now.

Their licence is still intact therefore I'd suggest they were more dormant than ceased at this moment in time.
