Title: All Electric demo for NX?
Post by: Dom on July 16, 2017, 07:38:12 PM
Quote from the Buses Magazine FaceBook page:
QuoteVolvo has unveiled its first all-electric 7900E single-decker for the UK. The demonstrator is scheduled to spend a year on trial in Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham

I wonder if the visit to Birmingham is going to be for NX?

Apparently somebody said it's for the 50X, but I'm not really sure.

50X? Currently the only 50X in the West Midlands is the green bus school service 50X?

I saw something that it is now in Liverpool but that is the last trial, not sure how true that was ?
It has visited Manchester, Kent and Cardiff so far. Link to photo of bus in question

On trial with Stagecoach Merseyside now, isn't it? Stagecoach seems to have gone all out, branding-wise. Most of ts current livery is made up of vinyls, from what I aan tell. I do hope its not on its final trial, but we will have to see.

I'm sure there are photos of it in its current state on The North West Bus Blog's site (commonly abbreviated as TNWBB)
