Title: Chase Line Rail Replacement Buses
Post by: Michael Bevan on June 09, 2017, 10:19:42 PM
Buses will be replacing trains on the Chase Line to allow electrification work to take place, starting from tomorrow. Rail Replacement buses will be on this weekend from tomorrow (10th of June), Sunday's from the 11th of June to the 30th of July, 13th of August until the 28th of August, and the 17th of September until the 1st of October. I thought I'd make a thread to post the stuff relating to them instead of filling the other threads.

If anyone is interested, I noted these on Rail Replacements today.

WA: 1845, 1856, 1889, 1895, 1900 (on loan from PB), 1930 (on loan from PB), 7020 (on loan from PB), 7021 (on loan from PB), 7029 (on loan from PB), 7032 (on loan from PB), 7033 (on loan from PB).

WN: 2025, 2027, 2028, 2029, 2059, 2060, 2061.

There might be a few more that I've missed, but that's all I've seen today. I was surprised to see that Wolverhampton were operating the Rail Replacement alongside Walsall!

This is going to be horrendous for commuters. Total journey time about 1hr 20min last Saturday.  Can you imagine what it'll be like weekdays  in rush hour. To and from Landywood.  Will they run single deckers? Can't see them coping with the busier journeys. Hopefully duplicates?
