The WMT30 event at Kings Heath on Sunday will hopefully have a chance for a very rare photo of 4 double decks side by side in the 4 current livery variations with a Platinum E400MMC, a Crimson StreetDeck, A Coventry E400 and a Dundee Gemini lined up.
Should be a good day then & lets hope the weather holds out for it too

Calm down Rhys, you are not the only child on here, so if it's a dig, it's at them as well!

Waiting for you to react Rhys, if you say nothing back, they get fed up of doing it!
Let's just hope the day is not spoilt by kids like previous events

You always will get one or two who will take it too far but the majority of the youngsters are the future enthusiasts and if they are discouraged then the future of bus preservation and interest will just disappear. We were all at that stage once.

It was great, to be honest. Stayed on site for no longer than an hour, though - that's considering that I didn't buy any food/refreshments; however I did make up that time by circling the merchant stalls a few times, as well as dawdling around the buses on displays..
The event finishes at 4. You should try and make it down there, the ride on the Streetdeck, if you haven't rode one already, is very smooth indeed. Quite a short journey from Kings Heath.
On another note, anyone know of any future events? Preferably Free/Midland-based. :)

I had never rode one of the Streetdecks before and as you said it was very smooth. I only stayed for 90 mins though but did enjoy getting photos of the lineup. Give me an hour and I will post all future midland based events
@clayderman :)
I really enjoyed today
Nice lineup of buses on display and managed to get some photos
And meeting some fellow forum members.
Hopefully more future events is expected soon.

@Dylanbusboy45 - Very helpful, indeed. Would've checked the ShowBus Events page, but the layout is all messy and hard to pinpoint the ones that may be of interest to me. Again, thanks. 😊

I appreciate the feedback and thanks for the insight.
Sadly I'm too far away to get there before 4, if it was 5 I could just about make it. Oh well. I look forward to see photos posted by members.
The list posted above is great but is anyone aware of events which include NX or more specifically open days ?

Really enjoyable day today, caught up with a lot of people I hadn't seen for a while, got some good info, got some good photos and no incidents from what I saw at least.
Listening to about four older photographers down the bottom waiting to take there photos of the buses in every livery they was taking about this one younger photographer who was jumping on and off every bus taking photos of the interiors one commented how he was opening the closed doors as if he owned the buses and just walking on them eventually the said youth did finish and shift much to the delight of the older gentlemen who was able to then do there photos with nobody darting on and off buses.
