Title: tamworth bus&coach 178.
Post by: andyr on June 17, 2012, 06:44:50 PM
I cant belive how good this coach looks. I remember driving her when she was in the london liner fleet at central coachways. They also operated D932ODA which was the prototype of the MCW 400GT. Only 3 of them were ever built YT buying the 3rd. These were a big improvement on the cummims engined metroliners we were used to has they had a massive gardner engine i  them. I think YT replaced them with scania engines at some point. Would be nice to see one of these preserved.

Certainly hard to believe it's nearly 25 years old, looks amazing!

Good to see one more of the mcw 400gt saved. I belive the prototype D932ODA still exists all though i understand it has suffered a fire. It would be great if it to could join its two sisters.

I'm with you, "andyr". How fantastic would it be to see one return to its original, gleaming blue livery with gold lining?
