Final 3 for the East Anglia franchise

Abellio East Anglia Limited (a joint venture between Abellio and Stagecoach)
First East Anglia Limited
National Express East Anglia Trains Limited

Final bidders were as above, but without any Stagecoach skin in the final Abellio bid submitted.

NX Group & First Group have both missed out on the new East Anglia rail franchise, it has been re-awarded to Abellio

The bid replaces the entire fleet with new trains.

The Japanese are now getting in to UK rail, with Abellio having agreed to sell a 40% stake it Greater Anglia to Mitsui
