I know we have all heard of rail delays caused by ice, the wrong type of leaves etc., but this is a new one on me!

What is rather disturbing is the use of the word pilotman - the staff involved were conductors, pilotman has a very specific meaning of the man provided to ensure only one train is on a single line during failures or emergencies.
