Title: Ex West Midlands Buses for Sale
Post by: MrBevan2000 on December 20, 2014, 02:20:25 AM
I have just came across this on a website. Now if I am correct H215 LOM used to be Travel West Midlands. H139 GGS used to be AM-PM too.

139 was actually a surprisingly nice bus, considering whos it was! I remember I only ever managed to catch it once on the 900 but it sounded just like a Lynx (which I suppose is right as it's a ZF Leyland). I always wondered what happened to it so nice to know it hasn't been scrapped.

It's interesting Michael to see the two buses still exist.

I do think the description of H215 LOM as a Scania Metrobus is very misleading, but it is a vehicle I would like to think could be preserved.

Not sure if they still have their other MK1 and/or 2786. Thought all of them had been replaced by Volvo Olympians.

Children? Pfft. Polish your attitude before you write.

The reg plate and the fleet number are obscured. Something's fishy.

Just came across this online by accident. I think it was the last Metrobus to be withdrawn in 2010.

@Michael Bevan - No need to start another new thread, I've put it in the last one you created with exactly the same title! Winston

The reg is wrong on that page, it's C903FON, not F903FON:

One of the last 3. It was used on the last day of the Metrobus with two others in July 2010 at AG.

That one was the last, deliberately chosen to be the last board to run back in

Ex TWM Optare Solo 313 is currently up for sale on Facebook from Xelabus. I believe 314 is also included in the sale as the sister scrap vehicle.
