I understand that the 38xx Scanias are being re numbered immediately into the 35xx block to make way for a batch of DAF pulsars from Arriva North West Ggreen Lane Garage.

I guess the OmniLinks 3800-12 and the 3 ex-Centrebus Wright Solars 3813-5
Lets hope cannock dont get any more of the b#####d things
I would imagine Wednesfield may get some judging by the clues given in the other thread.
Bob I would love to hear your reaction to Cannock getting more Pulsars at the expense of MPD's. I fear even you wouldn't know what to think.
But even you have to concede that Cannock's fleet is looking vastly superior to what it did this time 12 months ago? Despite your predictable slating of the Streetlites.

I'd take whatever Bob says with a pinch of salt lol
Do Wednesfield have any services that would benefit from Pulsars?
The fleets looking superior yea, apart from how slow they are at refurbishments. Theres still a load of shocking darts and as yet only one of the threadbare 3701-4 has received a retrim. But yea the fleets looking better
Four for Wednesfield, this would release deckers somewhere in guessing. Four for Shrewsbury for the 164 id put money on it, 1 for Oswestry and four for leciester I think
YN08 HZW-3809 noted in Birmingham on the 116 this lunchtime now renumbered 3509

All but 4 Double Deckers will depart Wednesfield by 4th Jan 2015
Where they headed? Any possibility of cannock receiving a spare?

Latest news is that 23 DAF Pulsars will be coming to Arriva Midlands.
And 10 into the North East by the sounds of it, from Bootle.
Wonder what will be displacing them at Arriva North West as they still have older darts to replace?

They are in the process of receiving 61 Enviro 400's as part of the 2015 order, indeed the first 5 have been delivered already. 10 for the North East has been confirmed by our management :)

Thanks for info on that!
Just surprised given the number of darts/cadets there they're not replacing their own elderly vehicles with the displaced Pulsars.

I think even with 61 E400's in and 49 Pulsars out it would give scope for 12 Darts to go. I understand they are due further new vehicles later in 2015 too, but details haven't filtered out about them just yet.
The latest list I have confirmed is...
ADL Enviro 200 (6)
6 Wales (Wrexham) - services 3/4
ADL Enviro 400 (112?)
5 North East (Darlington.Durham) - SAPPHIRE 7
2 North East (Durham) - SAPPHIRE 6
16 North West (Bootle) - services 52/52A
11 North West (Green Lane) - service 10B
26 North West (St Helens) - services 10/10A
12? Shires (Aylesbury) - SAPPHIRE 280
8 Wales (Chester) - SAPPHIRE 10
16 Yorkshire (Belle Isle) - MAX 110
16 Yorkshire (Dewsbury) - MAX 202/203
Wright Streetlite DF (50)
25 Midlands (Telford)
6 North East (Durham) - SAPPHIRE 6
6 North West (Birkenhead) - service 487
13 Shires (Stevenage) - SAPPHIRE 100/101
Wright Streetlite WF (12)
6 S.Counties (Tunbridge Wells) - service 281
6 Wales (Rhyl) - services 35/36, 83/84 (rumoured)

Any for stafford?
Pretty impressive investment then!
Thanks for posting the details so far!
I think there's scope especially within the Midlands to try and standardize types through new investment and cascades.
I wonder if any further existing vehicles will get MAX/Sapphire refurbs.
Given that the 74/5 are easily one of if not the busiest cannock garage routes, id have thought theyd be a candidate for sapphire. They could probably just refurb the deckers, like in Leicester. I can understand the 1 being treated to an upgrade but the 2/2A are really quiet routes...

St Helens due new deckers in the near future for the 10, the first couple may have already arrived. New management at ANW seem to be favouring deckers again for Liverpool, and with the loads they shift its about time.
Are the wednesfield pulsars for the 10?
The loadings on the 4A would suit a mini cooper , let alone an E200 but Pulsar 2's will still be the best buses in Wolverhampton apart from B6LE's
You rate b6s as good buses with pulsars second? Where do b7s/citaros/scanias feature then?
